STAY AWAY FROM THEM!!! - STAY AWAY! We have booked a Ha Long Bay cruise with this company and it was a disaster from the very beginning. They proved that they are incompetent of providing good quality service or ensure the tour operators they cooperate with are reliable. They are not able to resolve your problem and the communication is poor when your run into an issue. First I made a reservation through GetYourGuide and then i was asked to cancel it cause they don't have any more room and offered me another cruise, but to be booked through their website directly. This is the moment when I should have resigned, but I didn't. The transport - we had an option with transport from Cat Ba. Everything was all right until we got dropped off by the bus driver at the middle of the road while it was raining with the only instruction on where to go next was "waking walking". The accommodation - once we opened the room we were struck by the awful smell of mold and damp. After closer inspection we noticed that the AC unit was absolutely filthy. You could see stains on the walls. Dirt and dust in the bathroom. Also the room itself was completely different from what they show at their website!! There was nothing they could do about that as the cruise was full. The problem is that once you see your room there is no way back cause the boat is already departed. In the end we had to spend the night out in the open trying to catch some sleep lying on the uncomfortable sun beds. They start the engines before 5am so if your cabin is close to it, then it impossible to get a decent sleep. Food and restaurant - everything on the menu is extremely overpriced. You pay three times as much as in regular restaurant. On top of that there's a corkage fee on everything: softdrinks wine and they never inform you beforehand or when booking a tour. They would even charge you for water. Another thing is that they charge you 4% fee when paying witb card, while everywhere else would charge 3. Also don't get your hopes too high with "welcome drink" which in reality is half a glass of sugary water with slice of lime. There's bbq dinner which was good but everything else was average and often served cold. Price - completely inadequate. For elevated price of 330$ this is not something anyone would expect.
