The tour departs from the cruise terminal towards Castelmola (approximately 45 minutes by road). Castelmola is a small village on the top of Taormina with a wonderful view of Mount Etna. After about an hour we move to Taormina, one of the most beautiful cities in Italy, reachable only on foot and full of shops and restaurants. After about 2 or 3 hours…
The tour departs from the cruise terminal towards Castelmola (approximately 45 minutes by road). Castelmola is a small village on the top of Taormina with a wonderful view of Mount Etna. After about an hour we move to Taormina, one of the most beautiful cities in Italy, reachable only on foot and full of shops and restaurants. After about 2 or 3 hours we return to Messina, but not before a nice panoramic tour of Isola Bella. As a last stop, we will visit the Sanctuary of Christ the King, a panoramic point over the Strait of Messina, and the Duomo cathedral, where you can admire the largest astronomical clock in Europe. The timetable is designed to make the most of your time in Sicily and to be perfectly on time with the cruise ship.

Amazing personalized tour from Messina to Toormina and Castelmola !!! Fabulous guide !!! - We have been making several stops around the Mediterranean on a cruise ship and this tour has been our absolute favourite so far.
Bahar (guide) and Alberto (driver) were absolutely amazing and made sure that we were greeted at our ship and treated like royalty. Alberto reached out ahead of time and gave very detailed instructions on where to meet and ensured very timely two way messaging up until the tour. Once picked up, they ensured that the timing was done right to avoid crowds and maximize our experience. The tour was customized to our preferences and they even ensured that we got our desired cannolis and almond wine 😋. There was just the right amount of free time. We never felt rushed and Bahar was able to answer all of our questions. They both took photos of our group and provided them to us throughout the day.
I highly recommend this tour to anyone stopping in Messina. If I could have given more than 5 stars, I would have.

A day in Sicily with Pari - Our group of 15 people that included teenagers and adults of different ages visited Sicily. Pari was our tour guide. We all enjoyed our tour. Pari told us about history of Sicily, introduced us to different legends, took us to scenic landmark and restaurants, where she introduced us to local foods. Pari was patient, accommodating, energetic, upbeat, and funny. I would highly recommend this tour.

Amazing Private Tour with Pari – Taormina & Castelmola Magic! - We were a group of 15 adults and teenagers visiting Sicily on a Voyager of the Seas cruise, and this private excursion to Taormina and Castelmola with Pari as our guide was the absolute highlight of our trip!
From the moment we were picked up at the port in Messina, everything was seamless. Pari was not only professional and organized, but also incredibly warm, funny, and full of local insight. She kept both the adults and teens engaged the entire time — no small feat with a big group!
Pari gave us the flexibility and personal attention we could never get with a big group. We didn’t feel rushed, and every moment felt curated just for us.

Great guide Kimberly and driver! - Kimberly and driver were awesome! We had my mom with us who walks slowly with a cane. She was cognizant of her abilities to move around and therefore made choices that enabled my mom to get the most out of the tour. The driver was very helpful in getting my mom in/out of the van and even sat with her while we climbed the stairs to see the castle. They both were delightful and got us back to the ship when we wanted. Would highly recommend Kimberly and her driver. We would use agin!

Amazing personalized private Tour in Messina, Taormina and Castelmola !!! - We have been making several stops on our cruise around the Mediterranean and this was by far our favourite tour!!
Bahar and Alberto were absolutely amazing and made sure that we were treated like royalty. We were picked up at the gate and the route and timing of the stops ensured that we never felt crowded. The tour was customized to our preferences and we appreciated all of their recommendations. We never felt rushed and all of our questions were knowledgeably answered. I highly recommend this tour to anyone stopping in Messina!!! If I could have given more stars, I would have!!!!

Taormina tour with Lillo - Taormina was beautiful the ladies loved the shopping and the views were incredible. Lillo was a great guide. The wine and lunch at the Gambino winery was excellent. Would recommend booking this tour with Lillo as your guide!

Best Day Ever! - We had an absolutely amazing tour with Pari! She was very knowledgeable, friendly, and entertaining! Our daughter and her friend adored her as well- she was so sweet with them! I’ve already recommended this tour to family and friends and would love to tour with Pari again in the future!

Highly Recommend! - Great experience with Alberto and Mario. Mario gave us some history about Messina and Taormina. We booked a tour at Gambino Vini winery on our own which was fantastic. Highly recommend Alberto and Mario.

Professional, prompt and great service - Alberto and our driver Lillo were fantastic. Lovely to deal with and professional from the very beginning when we booked our drive. Alberto helped us put together an itinerary for our drive through Sicily and Calabria. Lillo was prompt, professional and also told us many stories about Sicily. Highly recommend for anyone loo king to get around Sicily.

The best in Sicily! - This was one of the best excursions we’ve been on! Communication was fantastic & very prompt. They were exactly where they said they would be to meet, when they said they’d be there. Our guide, Francesco, was incredible from start to finish. Very knowledgeable and extremely prompt. We did the boat and Taomorina tour, and our ride through the Bay of Naxos was one of the most picturesque rides we have ever been on. After we rode the coastline and peeked into caves, we anchored and were told to jump in! Our boat captains were funny and had everyone laughing. After our boat trip, we made our way to Taomorina where Francesco guided us to the most delicious food in Taomorina, Mama Rosa, where we indulged in pizza, pasta, calzones, and cannolo. He really knew the best spot! We decided to end the tour just a little early because my kids were hot and within 2 minutes of telling Francesco we were done, he was there to pick us up! Again, the quickness and promptness cannot be beaten.
I would recommend Sicily Best Excursions and Francesco to everyone, and I will continue telling everyone how great they are!
