Delightful Provence flourish and perfumed day tour - It was an more than excellent tour! We could see many tiny very old villages, the river and the canyon. A full day with plenty of information , a very interesting play list of the chanson francese, that has been selected by our experienced guide Mat! All the details and important facts of the places we visited , were explained by the guide Mat. Also pick flowers ( as lavanda) to explain about us.

A fun tour - Even though the lavender has not bloomed and we were unable to paddle boat, I still rate this excursion a 5 because our enthusiastic guide, Matt, filled the day with additional villages to visit and scenic routes to make up for it.

Favorite part of my trip! - Matt was an amazing tour guide and genuinely cares that you have a good time! He knows so much about the areas he takes you, it was very impressive! Each place you go is stunning! Probably my favorite thing we did on our trip! It’s a lot of time in the van but Matt made sure we stopped at the best places for coffee and made sure we made restroom stops. Only thing I would say is if you get car sick easily this trip isn’t for you, lots of windy roads.

Best of Vernon gorges (however lavender fields were not covered as part of the included itinerary) - Saint Marie village is stunning. Roads to gorge is very winding n our driver is skilful though not slowing down. However rather disappointed we didn’t cover the lander fields though not the bloom period - as this tour is called ‘Gorges of Verdon and Fields of Lavender tour’. The tour itinerary should be amended as very misleading and tour cost including that as well. I have been looking forward to seeing the fields. The tour driver explained not lavender season till mid June - July so fields are green when we were touring (and not purple).

Beautiful blue Gorges - This was a great tour. Saw all the highlights that were mentioned. My only criticism is that when you are in the back seat you can’t hear the guide. Maybe a Bluetooth microphone would be good??

Self guided sauna experience - There was a driver and no guide. The person driving the car was nice but couldn't answer the simplest questions due poor English skills. The van was packed full and only the front row got AC and the back seats were hotter than hell so it was long and sweaty hours waiting for the next stop. All the stops were nice but with 120€/person one expects guidance and comfortable transportation.

Always worth the trip - Old Nice is well-kept and alive even if tourist shops abound. Overall the city is clean and alive. The modernization works can be seen and there are many construction sites. The Promenade des Anglais is worth a walk for the sea which it offers and the buildings that overlook it. Lots of ideas for eating well even if tourist menus prevail. I would suggest inquiring in advance so as to try the typical coastal or French dishes; at worst, references to the Italian nature of mountain bistros and restaurants can be a guarantee of quality. We couldn't see the Verdon gorges, we took the wrong road and went alongside the western shore of Lake Sante Croix but it didn't excite us; such an arduous road to see a basin is not worth it! Better to pass it to the north and visit the gorges For the lavender fields you have to wait from mid-June onwards

No trip!!!! - I didn’t go in this trip because the driver never showed up. The French Riviera company had the wrong day. It was very disappointing and I am waiting for a refund. To add insult to injury I keep getting emails asking me how I enjoyed my trip!
