Marvelous Marrakech - Great day in Marrakech— prompt and excellent driving from Hamza. And a wonderful, informative tour of Marrakech from Ider (plus, an excellent lunch recommendation).

Casablanca to Marrakesh day trip - Great experience! Mohammed L was so fun to be with. Very good driver. Definitely recommend! 👍🏼 We were picked up at our hotel lobby. And we spent the day in Marrakesh. Visited Jardin Majorelle, some souvenir shops, delicious moroccan lunch, and then ended the day with a camel ride.

- What a truly fantastic trip to Marrakech! We easily met up with our driver Hamza who spoke limited English but he was absolutely lovely and easy to communicate with through WhatsApp. Hamza was also very accommodating since we were trying to get a bite to eat before heading out on our tour so we needed a little extra time, and he offered to pick us up at the restaurant. The car was very comfortable and clean and the 2-hour drive to Marrakech flew by as we chatted, napped and relaxed. We stopped and rode camels with a lovely man who dressed us in local garb and then made camels out of plants for each of us as he led us through the desert (see picture below)! When we arrived, we met up with our guide Youssef who seamlessly led us through the history of the city, took us to the best place for lunch in the Jewish quarter, taught us how to barter, brought us to the best most authentic shops, and helped us get pictures with a snake charmer and his snakes! Youssef even volunteered to ensure that our purchases were shipped to the U.S., when we placed an order at a leather store! It seemed like everyone knew Youssef - so many people came up to say hello to him or give him a hug. Youssef ended the day for us at a delicious well-known cafe and then delivered us back to Hamza for the ride home. Youssef even helped arrange for us to be dropped at our lodging and Hamza readily agreed. We were tired but so happy we’d had such an incredible day. This was a truly Incredible and totally worthwhile tour. Me and my family truly had smiles the whole day,. Youssef was so knowledgeable and both Youssef and Hamza were so kind and trustworthy. This was truly a favorite!!

Best driver and guide ever! Do not miss this experience! Do this instead of any cruise ship offering by all means! - This was an exquisite trip with the best driver/guide and also a local guide. We were shown so many things, dropped for a delicious lunch and then went to the places the guide truly understood to be in our hearts for both seeing and purchasing some very special things! It was truly one of the best days of travel and I cannot say enough good about Hamid and Abdellah were truly exceptional and we felt like family. Their passion and true care shined through in every day! If your time in Morrocco is limited and even from a cruise ship - take this tour! You will have an unforgettable day made comfortable too!!!

Camel ride was the best part - Started out rough because they would not pick me up from my hotel even though it was only 2 min from the unmarked meeting point of their choice. This caused a lot of stress and I spent unnecessary time and money on taxis to find the meeting spot. I hope they change it for the sake of other tourists and better experience for all involved. The driver, mr. Minhaj was wonderful. He didn't have a problem dropping me off at the hotel after the tour. He said he would have picked me up too if he knew about the hassle. The driver was comfortable and the van had AC. The guide, Mr. Houssine, was knowledgable and also very accommodating. Hebmade sure we saw major points on the itinerary. I only wished the tour involved less of a market time and more sight seeing. Ladies, no need to wear long sleeves, or cover your shoulders or knees. Maraketch is like any other place in the world that I visited. Make sure you dress and keep cool because it is hot there. The highlight of the trip was the camel ride for me. One suggestion there too, you will ride along the rode, so a more attractive route for the camel ride would be better. Overall an ok experience.

Very long trip - I was in Casablanca for a business trip and had a couple of days to myself. I decided to go see Marrakech since I was in the area, and I might never have the chance again. Booked the trip via Travel Advisor. The communication from Premium Transfers and Tours was good. I received all the details and instructions to meet the driver. Driver was on time in the morning and the Sprinter Van was very nice. I got paired up with two other couples and another solo guy from Germany. Right off the bat, the Brazilian couple was 10-12 minuted late coming down from their room. I say this to remind you that as a group you are only as fast/efficient as your slowest (and sometimes inconsiderate) member of the tour. For approx $300 more I could have went solo. The drive to Marrakech is very long (3 hours one way). That is a lot of time to spend on the road for a day-trip. We stopped at a gas station for a bathroom break and the opportunity to get a snack or drink. There was bottled water available for us in the van. I have to say the condition of the highway in Morocco is unbelievable. The roads are so well maintained, they seem brand new. Buttery smooth ride the entire way, I was amazed. I wish the roads in Texas were as nice. Our first stop was the camel ride. It is in a field across the street from a golf course resort. They suit you up in some local garb - long blue kaftan and a blue head wrap. The garments had been washed and were clean. Then they load you onto the camels; the camels are all tied to each other in a line. They lead you around the field for about 30 minutes and they will take your picture with your phone if you like. Honestly, I had enough of the ride after approx 3-5 minutes. Did it, checked the box. As we approached the starting spot, one of the guides started saying in a low voice that he would appreciate a tip. He wanted it then instead of at the end because then his "big boss" who was leading the caravan wouldn't see. I couldnt get to my pockets because of the kaftan so I tipped him at the end. I dont think anyone else from the group tipped. Next we went to the Mosque in the town center. There we recieved a short briefing of the mosque. We then met our tour guide (different from the driver). We went o the Bahia Palace and got the tour (entry cost was 120 MAD per person - approx $12 USD. Bahia Palace was interesting but not spectacular. It also had a lot of damage from the 2023 Morocco earthquake which they were working to repair. Next we went to a square (Mellah) that had quite a few cafes and small shops. We were given 1hour and 15 minutes to eat and look around and were instructed to meet back up in the square. The Brazilian couple was late again and complained they only got an hour to eat. Next we walked through the old market area. It reminded me of an elementary school field trip. We walked all through the market in a line. He stpped at a couple of places to show us certain artisans: wood working, metal working, yarn dyeing. But for the most part he never stopped. It felt like if you stepped into a shop you might get left behind. The tour guide offered to take us to several other places (the secret garden, and a couple of other spots) but the Brazilian and the Chinese couples had no interest, and the German guy said nothing. So we skipped those. He took us to a large open square where there were snake charmers and monkey handlers but we walked non-stop through there to get to the bus. All this to say that we were at the mercy of the least interested of the group. I suppose I could have spoken up but I was the only one apparently that wanted to continue. Was the trip worth it (approx $120 USD)? Depends. If the goal is to say you have been to Marrakech then yes. If your goal is to spend some time really soaking in some of the experiences Marrakech has to offer, then I would say no. Felt a bit rushed and the tour guide left a lot up to the group - which never works out in everyone's favor. I feel like there should be an itinerary and it should be stuck to. There was an itinerary (which i paid for) but it was altered by other members of the group. Besides the Bahia Palace, you can get the same market experience at the Medina Market in Casablanca without the 3 hour drive. I saw all the same stuff in both markets. So we loaded up and headed back to Casablanca. Another 3 hour drive. It appeared to me that our driver was reading a book on his phone while driving. But we arrived safely back in Casablanca nontheless. I definitely would not do it again. But I guess I would sort-of recommend to do it once.
