The Trip of a Lifetime! - I intentionally booked Morocco during Ramadan so that I could get a better understanding of their holy month, and before I left my oldest son asked me if I was going to fast while I was there. I thought about it a lot and said yes. So, on the first day, I told Youssef of my intention to fast alongside him for the trip and he was really touched. Now, in hindsight, that was one of the best travel decisions I've ever made. Each night I was invited with Youssef, our driver and other Muslims (cook, receptionist, other guides or drivers, waiters, restaurant owners, hotel owners, or locals) to Iftar (evening fast break). It was an amazing experience to be invited into their lives and see how real Moroccans live. The food changed slightly from night to night, and always included staples like dates, soup and almond deserts. But the constant was the overwhelming hospitality. I felt welcomed with open arms. I also got to know Youssef quite well with so much extra time with him. We talked about travel, family, politics, religion, food, sports, his upbringing in the Sahara, education, and everything Morocco has to offer. By day four he was calling me his brother. By day eight, he invited my family to stay with his family if we ever come to Morocco again. And by day 15, we both cried as we hugged goodbye. I will be in touch with Youssef for the rest of my life. I consider him family. If, like me, you're travel goals are to experience the local customs and get a better understanding of the country and culture you're visiting, then I would highly recommend a trip with Youssef during Ramadan if your stomach can manage a little fast from sun up to sun down.

WOW!!! - I went on a tour of Morocco with Youssef, the head of Moroccan Madness Adventures. in March 2023, and WOW!! He was such an amazing guide. He is everything you could want in a guide: He is caring, knowledgeable, organized, and so much fun! He guided our group to hidden gems, created innumerable opportunities to connect with locals and one another, and went the extra mile at every opportunity. I cannot speak highly enough of Youssef! I highly recommend taking a trip with Moroccan Madness Adventures!

Magical experience! - This was the perfect trip to Morocco. Youseff was absolutely incredible. If you want a life long friend, amazing guide and someone that makes you feel safe in every situation… he is the perfect person to show you around Morocco. He helps the culture shine, teaches you things you wouldn’t be able to read about, and shows you the true beauty of the people and their country. Also, his planning and organization is so comforting. I’ve traveled all over the world and still have yet to find a guide like Youseff. Truly an incredible experience all around.

Best tour guide ever (and trip) - Youssef was my guide and he was one of the best tour guides I have had. He was very personable and so easy to talk to. He not only made it feel like a close friend giving you a tour, he also gave great information about the culture and history. Also the trip itself was great, I would recommend this tour to anyone who wants to get a taste of morocco.

Unforgettable Experience - Had been interesting in travelling to Morocco for a while but it was an even better experience than I had imagined. The country is beautiful and I'm really happy that I chose this trip in particular. The tour guide was brilliant, both knowledgeable about the people and areas we headed to as well as a great person to be around. The itinerary was well thought-out as we got to see a lot in a short amount of time. Interesting areas and activities were chosen for it and the logistics of travel etc. were very well handled. Highly recommended!

The best trip ever - I have visited 60 countries, but my las experience in Morocco was more than amazing. But the great experience was beyond because the guide Youssef, he is such a human and knows every corner in Morocco like no one. Eating with traditional families, pool by the Saharah desert, driving through the Atlas Mountains, learning about the oldest uomo Sapiens fossil founded in Morocco and of course visiting all the beautiful cities. Thank Youssef, you for such a madness adventure. 100000000000 recommended.

Amazing trip! - Incredible country and a fabulous guide! I loved the countryside; the mind-blowing Sahara Desert and the beautiful Atlas Mountains. Youssef introduced us to local families and explained the Morocco history including his experiences growing up in a nomadic family. Everything was conducted very smoothly and any hiccups he quickly sorted out. He has a wonderfully warm personality and is a lovely person. We all had tremendous respect for him and I think he will be a lifelong friend. I truly think he improved our experience ten fold.

Most Amazing Adventure Ever!!! - I had the most Amazing experience of my life traveling through Morocco with Youseff as a tour guide. He couldn’t me more knowledgeable about the country and all its assets. But most importantly, he brings sooo much Love to the journey. It was truly life altering in the best way possible and I can’t wait to come back and see Youseff and Morocco again!!! Wonderfully Planned Trip Encompassing Everything - Took my dad and older sister on an 8 day tour of Morocco over Thanksgiving with Youssef! Amazing trip!! - This trip was amazing!! Morocco is SO beautiful and Youssef, our guide, really knows well his country so we had the chance to discover so many cute places like medinas, typical restaurants and discover art and mint tea! I was alone to visit Morocco and I don't like to travel alone but with the group it was like traveling with my family. Thanks for everything :)
