Morocco - a place that is not enough and that calls back - Morocco is like a magnet, a place that always calls me back, and I still can't get enough of it.
I am returning to Morocco for the fourth time, and every time, I feel like I am coming back home.
Morroco speaks and appeals to me through the taste buds, the lush colors, through the majesty of its mountains, through the vast soul of the ocean, through the endless expanses of the desert, through the starry night sky, through the ever-changing nature, through fables and fairy tales, through tradition and culture, through hospitality, openness and generosity, through absolute simplicity, acceptance, through peace, gratitude and trust.
But what makes this trip unforgettable is the people we spend it with, and here I have to say a very huge thank to Camel Safaries (Ali Oussou, Mohammed Amraoui, and previous times Mohammed Mazzouz as well) who made our dreams come true. When travelling with Camel Safaries, we always feel welcomed and taken care of, and even though I'm travelling with these guys for the fourth time, each time is full of pleasant surprises.

1001 shooting stars - The tour was perfectly planned, combining visits to must-see places of Morocco with peaceful and relaxed leisure. We saw it all- busy night life of Marakesh, sunset and sunrise in the desert 🐪, shooting stars in the perfectly dark sky🌠, coastal pearl - Essaouira 🐟and many other beautiful places.
From the first minute till the last- our guides were taking excellent care of our well-being.
After this trip I'm certain that I want to see more of Morocco, the first impression was just gorgeous 🤩

A magical experience! - I think this is my first Tripadvisor review, and I am writing it because Camel Safaries was simply exceptional! I can’t recommend this group highly enough — Ali, Hassan and Mohamed went above and beyond throughout our 2-week visit. We traveled comfortably by bus to many key cities of Morocco including Marrakech, the Sahara, Chefchaouen, Fes and Essaouira. The accommodations (usually beautifully decorated riads) were absolutely gorgeous, and Ali taught us so much about the country as we drove from one area to another. In larger cities like Marrakech and Fes, Camel Safaries arranged for local guides, who were excellent.
The magical sunset camel ride and sumptuous overnight camp in the Sahara were highlights for all of us. It happened to be my mother’s 85th birthday, and Camel Safaries surprised her with a cake (in the Sahara, mind you!) as we dined in style under the stars. Sunrise in the dunes the next morning was breathtaking.
Thank you especially to Ali for making this trip so special!

Beautiful Morroco - Ali Oussou planned a comprehensive and wonderful tour of Morroco for our group of 6 couples. Accommodation were outstanding and inside the Medinas. We had a dedicated van and driver. Our guide, Mohamed, was knowledgeable on history, culture, traditions and geography of Morroco. He was there for us ALL the time making us feel safe. He gave us great recommendation on handling vendors while being sensitive to their economic needs and that they all were fasting for Ramadan. I even got a surprise birthday cake and happy birthday in 4 different languages. What a treat!! Thank you for our wonderful and safe trip.

Incredible Family Trip - 9 Night Morocco Tour - We had a truly unique Experience with Camel Safaris whom we hired to create an itinerary for our family trip to Morocco. Our tour lasted 9 days and we voyaged across Morocco from Casablanca to Rabat to Fes, across the Atlas Mountains to the Sahara Desert, back across the mountains to Marrakech and Essaouira and then back to Casablanca, all by car. Khalid, our guide, was with us every step of the way. He greeted us with fresh dates at the airport and provided gracious hospitality all throughout the trip making sure that we felt safe and comfortable and that our travels were easy. He shared with us so much about his country, culture and people, and arranged specific local guides for tours of markets and historic sites in many of the cities we visited. Camel Safaris arranged for great meals at traditional Moroccan restaurants as well as beautiful riad accommodations throughout our trip. We were also able to visit with a number of traditional producers of bread, argan oil, rose oil, pottery and rugs, including women's cooperatives. Walking in the dunes of the Sahara, visiting the bustling fish market in Essaouira, the UNESCO tannery in Fes and traversing the Atlas mountains and plains stand out as true highlights of our trip. It would have been impossible for us to cover this much ground and have such an authentic experience without Camel Safaris and Khalid - so many thanks again for a trip of a lifetime!

Definitely worths! Top level service, safety, travelling with flexibility, kindness, comfort and knowledge! - The whole trip was just an amazing experience! Thank you for all the things we could see and experience. Very professional but also very friendly Mohamed who let us see the beauty of the Morrocan landscapes, not just highway 🙂 🙏 Magic country. Great price for everything, very safe and comfortable. We spend an amazing 5 days and already feeling the need to come back and organize another trip/route. Thank you again! Believe me not even 400 photos not enough 🙂

4 day desert trip - Spotless - Legit the best private tour possible. Mohammed was polite, helpful, charming, accomodating - even took us for traditional lunch to his family home. We had some payment issues and Ali/Mohammed helped us rejig our payment options as per our convenience.
Cannot recommend more. If there's an agency you want to choose, it is this.

Wow - A Trip Beyond Our Expectations! - My family and I scheduled our tour through Camel Safaries. The owner, Ali, was very responsive in our communications, and extremely helpful in planning our route. What a great experience, especially, for my children. Our tour guide, Mohammed, took great care of us. He was not only knowledgeable, but very kind and patient. He was very flexible with our time during the trip. The desert portion of the trip and meeting local families was one favorite. My children were thrilled to play a quick game of soccer with the local children. The camel trek in the dunes of the Erg Chebbi (Sahara Desert), and overnight stay at the luxury camp was beautiful and exciting. We also spent another day visiting the areas around the desert and stayed at a hotel-kasbah that was right on the edge of the dunes. Our tour started in Casablanca and we visited Fes, the desert, Dades Valley, Ouarzazate, Essaouira which is on the coast, and flew out of Marrakech. Essaouira, Dades Gorge with awesome hiking around the "monkey fingers", and Marrakech were favorites. The Jemaa el-Fna Square in Marrakech was so unique,; the souks, entertainment in the square. We even did a food tasting tour. The tour was an enriching, educational experience as well. We didn't have enough time to visit many areas in the north (Chefchaouen and Tangier) nor southern coast, Agadr, Mirleft, and Safi. Maybe, on a future trip? I highly recommend this local tour operator. It will be an experience you will never forget.

Thrilling first time family adventure in Morocco! - Huge thanks to Camel Safaries and most especially Khalid for guiding us off through some of the finest places in Morocco, including many off the beaten track.
We are a family of five – two adults and three kids (aged 16, 13 and 11) - just back from a wonderful 8 day adventure from Essaouira to the Sahara desert (Merzouga) and back to Marrakech.
It was our first time in Morocco and we were very keen to get to know the country. From the start we felt in good hands. Ali listened to our needs and was extremely responsive to us on email as he proposed ideas for our trip.
Khalid allowed us to sit back and take in Morocco. To be driven cross country with him was an immense pleasure. He is an extremely careful driver, was very attentive to our needs, answered all of our questions, sharing his experience and knowledge with us. Khalid was great with the kids. One of our first purchases was a football and he made sure that the kids had plenty of opportunities to kick it around. The Riads that Camel Safaries choose for us were delightful. As vegetarian parents with carnivore kids, we appreciated the efforts that Ali and Khalid made to accommodate our needs.
We look forward to coming back to exploring the north of Morocco with Camel Safaries!
