• Carthage Aqueduct - The trip starts in Carthage at the biggest excavated Water Cisterns in the world, it will follow the water itinerary The Aqueduct, pass by Tuburbo Majus an Afro-roman site to reach the Temple of Water at the Mount of Zaghouan.
• Oudna - Wandering around Oudna will give you a true sense of what it must have been like living in Tunisia all those centuries ago. While excavation work is still being carried out, there are many impressive monuments to explore!

I will take you to Oudhna’s amphitheatre which is truly impressive. Did you know it is largely sunken into a hill and is partially reconstructed and could seat as much as 16, 000 spectators?

There is also the Capitol , the main focus after the amphitheatre, with its finest mosaics and impressive underground vaults dating back to the Byzantine era.

Will see the Great Baths that are reported to be very impressive underground structures. Locals have named this part “Bat Tunnel” from the many bats living here before!

• Thuburbo Majus - Roman colony for war veterans had 10,000 inhabitants,

Capitole, with four giant reconstructed pillars of veined pink marble marking the entrance to the temple, Built in AD 168, it is reached by a wide flight of stairs leading up from the forum (AD 161–2), which is colonnaded on three sides. A giant sandalled foot and head of an enormous statue of Jupiter, estimated to have stood 7.5m high, were found here.

The Temple of Peace, northeast of the forum, holds a few stone bas-reliefs, including one of Pegasus.

Temple of Mercury, with a circular design, was dedicated to the god of merchants and abuts the market.

The market stalls can be discerned on three sides of the courtyard below the temple.
Palaestra of the Petronii, named after the family of Petronius Felix, who paid for the construction of this gymnasium complex in AD 225 , some letters are carved into the floor, part of a game used to learn the alphabet.

Summer Baths complex, which covers 2800 sq metres.

• The Water Temple - Its location is as impressive today as it must have been in the 2nd century CE. Above it rises the 1,295 metre high Zaghouan Mountain, and in front stretches the fields. You may almost see the Mediterranean Sea on a clear day.
  Its decoration has similarities with what you would find in a temple. There are 12 niches each having a life size statue representing the 12 months of a year. In the middle there was really a temple, of which only the central niche remains.
