Seeing and Learning about Cartagena, Columbia - Rosey was the lead tour Guide and was very good and very knowledgeable. We had a small group in the walking tour of the walled city and there were three people helping keep everyone together and looking after us. “They took very good care of us!” They insured everyone saw and did what they wanted. They were on a time schedule but also very flexible. I would highly recommend using this tourist company!

Worth It - Always like getting an overview of a city via a tour bus. Only downside to this was it was fairly short. I would have liked to see more of the city. Definitely worth the time and money…

Whistle stop tour - As we had limited time in Cartagena, due to our cruise itinerary, we thought the hop on hop off bus tour would give us an overview of the city. The bus covers all major sights in the city. Unfortunately, due to the high level of traffic everywhere due to a conference that day, we felt unable to get off the bus so we just did the complete loop. We had an audio commentary to listen to which was informative. Strangely we had to put it on the French channel to listen to it in English! I would recommend this tour as any easy way of seeing the city. If you have the time hop off at the San Felipe Fort, see the old town and the beach at Bocagrande.

A good way to get an overview of the city - It was a good value for a good way to see the city. I would recommend it. But as is typical for bus tours, it was hard to hear the bus guide over the speakers. Booking through Trip Advisor ($17) was much cheaper than booking through the cruise ship ($40). Another couple paid when they got on the bus ($30) rather than making advance purchases.

Disappointing! - Very disappointing compared to other Hop-On tours I've taken in NYC, Boston, and Lisbon. The traffic is so congested it takes forever to get from one stop to the next. The language kept switching on the chanels, the driver stopped for too long at one stop where vendors were just trying to sell things. Sadly, we never really saw the old town area of Cartegena. I regret not just hiring a cab to take us around for the day.

It's A Trap - Just so incredibly boring. Maybe the least interesting thing I did while I was in Colombia. The bus is super slow and makes frequent stops. The tour information is played on a pre recorded loop you listen to on your headphones. Which is 90% elevator music. And more or less a brochure for the city of cartagena. Even the information about historical sites was very limited and not very in depth. I think it would be better to just look up the sites you are interested in visiting and going to them. This bus is more a tourist trap for older Americans being shuttled from cruise ships and hotels. I recommend doing literally anything else.

Not what this company is known for world wide. Skip HOHO in this city. - I've done these all over the world and most are good. This one is the worst. If you come in on a cruise ship they will pick you up at the port but not if you don't book through the cruise line. The tour itself is not that great but the worst part is the liars that run this business. We spent about half our time waiting for the replacement bus to take us back to the pier that they won't pick you up at. You must take a cab into town to the first tour stop. I'll skip the rest of the story, I'm not wasting any more time on this company. This review is for travelers to beware.

I would not trust company - We booked with friends . Friends had proof of purchase but never received voucher - really big hassle and poor customer service .
