UNIQUELY PHENOMENAL… - PHENOMENAL is most appropriate to describe Jennifer Osorio, owner, Unique Travel, Cartagena, Colombia. My story starts with my procrastination! I traveled to Cartagena for the first time in an effort to determine if this was a good place to live abroad. While enjoying my stay and really enjoying the city I decided to make an attempt to go on the Palenque Tour. Although I heard reviews on TikTok regarding Unique Travel and J-O, I wasn’t too sure if I had waited too late to make this tour due to logistics. I reached out to J-O on Monday afternoon asking if we could go on this tour Tuesday? The immediate response was “Yes, of course”. This was very comforting as seeing, touching and walking on this sacred land was something I needed! Jennifer immediately went through her checklist of items made sound recommendations for the trip, and scheduled pick up for the next morning. As an astute business owner, and I found out as the day went on a kind, caring and generous person, J-O was enthusiastic ensuring I get involved in the activities, she captured these moments for me and this AWESOME tour is something I’ll always cherish. As we were going back to Cartagena, we approached a toll booth. I look to my right and see two gentleman with camping gear and one of them was waving at me. I simply waved back as I assumed all was well and they too were just enjoying this part of the world. Well, J-O noticed these gentlemen as well and she said to me “ they need help” she went on to ask if was okay with her providing them some assistance. Due to her character it was clear to me she had discernment, so I gladly supported her in this. What I observed was someone making a friendly gesture, what she saw was distress! Had it not been for her, those gentlemen may have missed their flight home to Holland! During the ride there were great exchanges between us all and this is what’s life’s all about! J-O saved the day once again!!! I can’t speak highly enough about you and your company Jennifer! Unique Travel is Uniquely Phenomenal… J-O thanks a million for such an amazing experience! I really liked it, one moves - Hydrate very well because it is quite sunny and wear cool clothes. Cover up and wear sunscreen, the natives are friendly and give you good information and my biggest recommendation is to stay 100% hydrated.

The truth was it was a super experience, getting to know that Community of Blacks from Palenque and its Natives, - An excellent experience, I loved it.... Everything was super and the accompaniment of the spectacular tour guide, I would go again

Worth repeating! - The tour was very organized, all the details informed and the experience as we were informed. We would repeat it! They picked us up at the hotel facilities in the northern area, and finally I met the volcano, a bath that I needed, I had heard a lot about the benefits it had and yes, I have proven it!

Fun experience - Very cool tour, authentic and cultural. Super recommended, delicious food, tastings of artisanal liquors, super nice people. You must visit this iconic town.

Super experience! 🔥 - How nice to know about the culture of Palenque!!!!, I felt super identified with their dances with their foods and ideologies of plant medicine, it is so worth knowing the Palenquero people 💞💞🤩🤩🤩🔥🔥🔥

Palenque - I felt home being in the first free black town of the new world. I never knew Colombia has a history of slavery. Jen translated everything for us, very accommodating. The town is a world heritage of over 400 years. The people of Palenque were so welcoming, we got a live music show with some traditional African drums. The people e of this town have their own language.

Educational - I loved. I like to learn about people's history. The music and food were also excellent.
