Highlight of my time in Cartagena - An absolute amazing experience, our dive instructor was extremely attentive, patient and thorough. We all went from novices to feeling like competent divers. The water, wrecks and reefs were all beautiful! You will not be disappointed with your booking!

Buzos de Baru: THE dive company to see Cartagena’s sea life! - I would definitely recommend Buzos de Baru to anyone looking to get certified or to dive with while in Cartagena. Having read all the wonderful reviews, I bought my husband Buzos de Baru’s open diver course for his 40th birthday. Juan was amazing to liaise with. He got back to me quickly, was super professional, and he put together our itineraries flawlessly. My husband was able to complete his coursework from home in the States so that when we arrived in Cartagena, he got straight into the diving. His instructor, Alvaro, did an amazing job of teaching him all the fundamentals. Fluent in both English and Spanish, Alvaro made my husband very comfortable and safe during the dives. Now my husband is addicted to diving. I also joined a group of divers later in the week with dive master Santiago. Santiago did a great job of assessing each diver’s level and knowing how to make everyone safe while ensuring they had a great time. My husband and I also received photos and videos of our dives to remember them forever. Thank you Juan, Alvaro, and Santiago. Nos vemos pronto para bucear otra vez con Buzos de Baru!

Well worth it! - Awesome experience. They take lots of safety precautions and make sure you are very comfortable while learning.

Open Water Experience - I had such an amazing time with Buzos de Baru. The instructors are really good and the experience provided was simply stunning, specially because of the places they took us to dive for the certificate.

Wanted to do a Padi open water - He tried to tell me The hotel will not allow me to visit te pool but I did it. Told him I will book somewhere else if I can’t. He replied you can book somewhere else.. finally he found excuse to not let me book it. He said the instructor is a women ad better I go back to te school I was! I did not told him anything. Find out the women instructor of previous school . who was playing game ad very rude and impolite and blocked me on her wats app. Was her! She started yell on me on te boat because I came back onboard ad was not able to breath ad wet suit way too small ad I told her ad did not listed me. Etc etc. I am customer and paid money areas very nice with her. She bad temper. And the man of that school told me I am not a man after I told him about her what. Thought . Flew from Usa for my Padi and they treat customers like that!
