Average at best - not worth the price: low value for your $ - Rented a boat to tour the Rosario Islands and ended up at Mangata Beach for lunch. Place was well kept. There is really no sand beach here , and the beach area was full with corals and stones. Server was attentive. Food was average at best. Indeed the pargo frito was not fresh, it appeared the fish was friend frozen given the consistency of the meat. We also got a lobster that for 190.000 COP was overpriced and not worth its price. The chicken nuggets with fries for the kids were good. The cocktails were just okay. It is customary for the hotels/ restaurants to offer food/ lunch to the boat captain/ maid. And after management provided the customary lunch to the boat crew, they tried to also charge me for it. I did not appreciate the lack of transparency. This place does not offer good value for what they offer , I definitely would not return or recommend it to anyone.

Quite a mixed feeling - We went on this ressort for a day trip in July 2023: The positive side is that the resort and the water are clean, the staff very friendly, the food edible. BUT: if you intend to pass a calm day on the beach choose an other destination, loud music from the pier to the resort was really too much, The drinks are expensive for columbian standards AND DO NOT GO OUT OF THE RESORT: my wife was attacked by dogs immediately outside the resort, we had to pass half a day in a clinic for the treatment of the wound the day after the excursion. Shortly said if you like loud music and posh places, go ahead but take care not to exit the resort.
