- Lunatico Cooking Studio - In our workshop, you’ll have a fantastic time getting hands-on experience as you learn to whip up authentic local cuisine.
Upon your arrival, you’ll be greeted with a glass of agua de panela, a traditional local beverage that’s sure to refresh you. We’ll then acquaint you with the regional ingredients and the array of dishes you’ll be crafting. Depending on the OPTION you select, you can choose from a variety of menus, including Cartagena staples like Topside beef or red snapper, or perhaps a Ceviche or Seafood stew menu.
Throughout the class, you’ll also pick up skills such as how to properly fillet a fish, discern the quality of ingredients for purchase, and other culinary tricks that are bound to impress your loved ones.
Additionally, you have the OPTION to reserve a combined Market tour and Cooking class.

Fun time! - Great time making ceviche. Fun experience meeting others. The Chef and staff were very helpful and instructive on the step by step process. Got to sit and eat together.

Fun & Tasty Cruise Excursion for Cartegena - We had a blast at this class with our friends. We did this while on a cruise and the timing worked well. The staff is so warm, friendly and helpful. I would recommend this class for anyone visiting with a few hours. Delicious authentic meal and great memories made.

Wonderful food, super fun! - Delightful time with Chef Daniel. He is clearly accomplished in his profession, and very passionate about Colombian cuisine. Fun experience, friend had recommended this. Food was delicious and we enjoyed the lunch.
Only “criticism”: We would have preferred a shorter time, perhaps have food premade, to serve to students. Felt like 4+ hours was way too long for class and lunch.

If you can go…go!! - Wonderful class! We booked on a whim two days before and luckily got to enjoy the class with only one other couple. The chef is incredibly informative and it’s not fast paced at all, we made fried snapper and coconut rice and we cooked everything from cracking coconuts open to frying the fish. We enjoyed lunch together and she spoke about her journey to Lunatico and it was a wonderful afternoon. ALSO she sent us a full breakdown of everything we made that day so you can go home and impress your friends with what you learned! They also sell merch and beautiful prints as well, the entire location sprouts lovely views and just a great vibe.

A "Don't Miss Experience." - This was an incredible experience to the Bazurto market and then back to the cooking school to make four different ceviches. Jasmine and Daniel and the crew were welcoming and made sure everyone got a chance to be involved in the preparations. They were informative and knowledgeable. The way we prepared two dishes, sat down to eat and enjoy, then prepared the next two, was a brilliant strategy. I highly recommend this experience. My niece and her husband (who is Columbian) thoroughly enjoyed themselves and plan to bring family and friends in the future. So much fun! Thank you, Lunatico Cooking School.

A Must Do Cooking Class - If you enjoy the food of Colombia and not sure how to prepare, then this class is for you. Jasmine and Jesus were very informative and helpful in ensuring the three of us understood the ingredients and how to season.

Amazing and unique experience! - What an amazing and unique experience! The chef was really patient and joyful, the ingredients were fresh and local and the food was delicious. Great drinks options at the end as well, I'd highly recommend if you want something different :)

A great time with delicious food! - We had a great time with Chef Maria! The food was delicious and she did an amazing job of explaining the process and the origins of the recipes. The only downside, is that in comparison to other cooking classes we have taken (where we all had our own stations to create our own plates), this was a bit more hands off as far as cooking. Otherwise really enjoyable.
