Perfect for First Time Surfer - I had never been on a surf board in my life, and my instructor Pablo taught me everything I needed to know! It was a 90 min one on one lesson where he stayed close by me and my board in the water the entire session. It was actually really great that he stayed close because the help navigating the waters helped me to not fatigue as quickly and I could focus on the surfing itself. After every attempt, he gave me small pointers that I could work on for my next wave. He helped me pick the right waves and would tell me exactly when to paddle and to stand up. As a first time surfer, I was up and riding the waves to shore within my first few attempts. Pablo is a professional surfer himself and was great at teaching. I can't thank him and recommend Poly Surf School enough!

Cartagena Surfing - Great coaching. We got up to surf in no time! Our instructors were great and we had a good time surfing in Cartagena.

Amazing surf lesson - Pablo and Erick are amazing! Erick's tips were helpful and I felt myself getting better and more comfortable in the water. The surfboard "simulator" was cool too. I would definitely do it again!

Catching waves with the fam! Five stars! - JP was an amazing instructor and great with kids. Hollywood Beach was perfect for beginners and children. Small rollers with a sand bottom. My kids had an absolute blast and all of them caught a lot of waves. The instruction and the location could not have been better. The only thing we struggled with was finding the surf school. There wasn’t a blue tent on the beach per the instructions but they have a physical location at the far side of Hollywood. Hollywood is pretty much divided into two beaches with a rock wall so it can be misleading and the vendors are aggressive trying to guide you for tips. Head as far as you can go south and they have a storefront on the left. Once we found it, it was fantastic! That was a minor inconvenience and the day was so great, it didn’t take away from it. 5 stars all around.

Great way to enjoy boca grande - Great time! Appreciated the pop-up session on land and adequate instructor to student ratio (1:2). We were a wide range of levels but all had fun.

exhilarating, safe & professional - My husband, my 5yr old son and me all took lessons. We had a wonderful time. My son took 2 lessons during which the instructor was behind him as my son got up on the board every time. I was with him in the water too doing my own lesson. My husband and I took 3 1hr lessons each during which we got to advance our beginner surfing skills - reading waves, working on timing and just being in the water. Although the waves were larger we always felt safe with Christian. He held out board as the waves came crashing or were building up so tall we had to climb them. It was exhilarating and we caught some good ones too. Christian's professional approach helped us also relax, take a breather and build confidence. We highly recommend surfing lessons with him and his school. It was the highlight of our trip to Cartagena. It is worth every penny!

Nice experience, lots of fun - We learned how to surf, it was my first time. But the instructors were very patient. We had a good experience and would go again!

So much fun! - My six year old son had a great time at their summer surf camp. The team at Poly Surf school are great with kids and all ages. The beach there is one of the best for learning to surf in my opinion. Will definitely go back!

Great! Recommend - Very good! The tutor is a former Colombian national champion. He gave excellent tips and advice for learning how to surf! The venue is simple and is right next to the water which was an excellent place to surf. Pretty shallow which was nice and it had friendly waves. Recommend!
