Learned a lot - Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and made the tour fun! This tour is a great way to see sites outside of the old city. Getsemani is also a highlight

Amazing Tour of Cartagena! - The tour was a great way to see Cartagena & learn about the various areas & the history. It was definitely worth it! We enjoyed some areas so much that we went to a couple of them the next day on our own. The only downside was that the people we were on the bus with were incredibly rude and didn’t understand basic etiquette.

Once you make it past all of tourists sales people then you are good to go. - Bring water and try for the earliest option as the sun will be a issue. Also bring small Colombian pesos to keep the sellers out of your face.

Incredible Sightseeing Tour - I really enjoy everything from start to finish. We traveled in an air conditioned van and took lots of pictures around Cartagena. It was great to see views of the fortress, the area where the Cartagena sign is located, and the highest point in Cartagena. The Chocolate museum was very interesting as well. The panorama views make for great pictures and memories.

Worth It! - The city tour was well worth it! There is a lot to see in four hours, however, they did a nice job. It is not a walking tour, it takes you all around. The time allowance for photo ops was very good. Our guide, Maria, was very knowledgeable and excited about sharing her city.

Great Sites, Lovely Guide - The pickup was disappointing: I was not told until after the 24 hour cancelation period that I would not be picked up at my hotel. I had to meet at 1:30 at the clock tower. The van was more than 30 minutes late picking me up and the coordinator didn't speak English, so I was waiting in the hot sun while everyone else was able to enjoy hotel pickup...for the same price. The guide was lovely, and inclusive. She helped us with photos, the history of Cartagena, and recommendations. She made the experience positive. The sites on the tour were fantastic. The van was not modern and plush, but it did have AC. All in all, I enjoyed the tour.

Fantastic AC Van Tour in Cartagena – Wish We Had More Time in Getsemaní! - Our AC van tour in Cartagena was an absolute highlight of our trip! The comfort of the air-conditioned van was a lifesaver in the heat, making the experience even more enjoyable. Our tour guide was incredibly knowledgeable, engaging, and brought the city's rich history to life with fascinating stories and insights. While every stop was interesting, Getsemaní was by far the best part of the tour! The vibrant street art, lively atmosphere, and deep cultural roots made it an unforgettable experience. I only wish we had more time to explore this incredible neighborhood—it felt like there was so much more to see and soak in! Overall, this tour was well-organized, comfortable, and informative. If you're visiting Cartagena, I highly recommend spending extra time in Getsemaní!

Cartagena highlights by mini van. - It was a nice tour of the city with the main areas covered. After gathering everyone in the air conditioned van, our tour guide Raul took us to Boca grande, then to a beach to take pictures with the ladies of Palenque, then climbed up to Popa monument going through the backroads of Cartagena then to San Felipe castle. After San Felipe, short stop by the boots sculpture and then walked through the streets of Getsemani. The guide was really nice and bilingual. In one afternoon we had a nice general idea of Cartagena!

We didn't go into the castle and there was no bottled water. - Guide Gary was very good, he was very kind to us and knows a lot, I don't know how he does to know so many names and so many stories. Besides the places it took us we would not have found them on our own. You can tell he loves his city. Regarding the tour I think I should be clearer about it not including the entrance to the castle of San Felipe because it was disappointing that we could only see it outside, we thought that if we were going to enter, anyway the guide made us enjoy the experience even from outside. It also clearly stated that it includes bottled water and we were not offered water at any time.

Complaint - The excellent guide. But the abysmal transport service was paid for by an air-conditioned transport and we never had the service. The car had strange noise and looked like a sauna. We could not enjoy the tour because of the discomfort of the heat.
