Take a step into history with this commentated journey along the Pony Express Trail to the biggest historical site in the USA—Virginia City, which houses the Comstock Lode, set up in 1859. Here, notable persona Mark Twain strolled the roads, and it was the desire of everyone who wished to claim a portion of the ‘Wealthiest location on the Planet’. The driver will provide narration about the historical, geographical, and geological aspects, as well as the flora and fauna of the area on the way to Virginia City (a distance of 40 miles or a travel time of approximately 1 hour 20 minutes).
Included in the tour is a trip to ‘The Way it was’ museum.
