You’ll be astonished by the diversity of landscapes and ecosystems, which include coastal forests, wetlands, a bio-luminescent lagoon, sea-grass habitats, both shallow and deep coral reefs, as well as miles of immaculate beaches. Begin with a culinary adventure at the exotic food stalls in Pinones, savoring the famous, authentic ‘fritura’. We then journey to the enigmatic Loiza, giving us a glimpse into the realm of African society and rituals. On offer is a local barbecued lunch packed to go(extra charges apply, serves in picnic style). We visit the majestic El Yunque in Rio Grande, the sole rain forest within the national park system - here we will take you through a lush jungle hike all the way to a river that was sanctified by the Taino Indians. Next, we hit the Natural Water Slide (please note that riding the slide is at your own risk). We end our journey at Luquillo: the ‘Capital of Bathing’, which flaunts possibly Puerto Rico’s most gorgeous beach where you can wallow in the shimmering silver sands and crystalline turquoise waters.
