Fun Way to Spend the Day - What a great way to spend a day in Carlsbad! David, our guide, was knowledgeable and fun, the food was delicious, and we learned a lot about the interesting history of Carlsbad. We were fortunate to be in a fun group of people, which just added to the enjoyment of our tour. I highly recommend taking this tour!

Fun day! - The food was great but we especially liked talking to Ed (Dirt), about his life leading up to the time he started working as a tour guide. He was also knowledgeable about the history of the Village of Carlsbad. It was a really fun day all around.

Great tour - Ben was awesome. I like how he mixed the history of the city with the food. The places we went we great and not places I would necessarily find on my own. Great tour.

Don't Miss this tour!!! - This tour was absolutely amazing. Our guide David was so interesting,informative and fun that we enjoyed him as much as the places we visited. We tasted pasta bolognese, special tomatoes from Naples and home-made limoncello at Cicciotti's, Tacos Pastor at Senor Grubby's, savory crepes at Froglander's, Srawberry shortcake and wine at Witch Creek Winery (I took a bottle of their Cool Cat Sparkling home) and ended with a gelato flight at Gelatolove. While enjoying this gastranomic wonder, David also share with us much of the history of Carlsbad, including how it got it's name and how Artisanal Alkaline water made it famous.

Yummy walking food tour. - Very fun walking tour with Ben, our tour guide. We visited several delicious restaurants and tasted some yummy food. Especially loved the gourmet doughnuts at The Goods! Really enjoyed learning about the interesting history of Carlsbad.

A few great hours in Carlsbad. - This tour is wonderful. Nice variety of food, great explanations about the public art/murals and some history is thrown in, too. Our guide, Ben, was knowledgeable, professional and fun.

Very nice guide but not... - Very nice guide but not worth the price. If you like carbs this is the tour for you. I don’t think I’ve ever eaten so many carbs. We ate pita bread, Italian bread, pasta, crepes, avocado toast and donuts. Be warned there are no wine samples on the tour although we did have some very tasty limoncello and pressed juice.
