The complete Doctor Who experience! - I'd highly recommend Eugene's Doctor Who tour. For my teenage daughters it was the perfect opportunity to bring their love of Doctor Who alive and to see how different sites in Cardiff have been used from the 9th Doctor onwards. It is clear how much work Eugene has put into devising the tour, and we really enjoyed talking to him about the actors, episodes, aliens, writers and plotlines of Doctor Who and Torchwood. We even touched on Sherlock (also filmed in Cardiff), much to our delight! Many thanks for a great afternoon.

Excellent experience - I would definitely recommend this tour to any Doctor Who fans that want to discover all the places the series has been filmed in. The tour contained many stops and references to dozens of episodes. It was also very interactive as Eugene was able to answer our questions every time, you can see he has not only spent hours doing research but he is also a big fan. It's amazing to see the amount of work he has put into the tour. He came prepared with screenshots from the episodes, and he has updated the tour to include even the most recent episodes and filming locations of episodes to be released. He even helped us identify the location of one of our favourite Torchwood sequences we were struggling to place in the map. Definitely 10/10, a must for the DW/TW fans.

Fantastic tour delievered by a fantastic guide! - Myself and my friend booked this tour relatively last minute not knowing what to expect, and we were both incredibly impressed with the whole experience - it was the perfect way to spend our last afternoon in Cardiff! Eugene was professional, friendly, thoroughly engaging from start to finish and very knowledgeable on all things Doctor Who. He made us feel welcome, was very easy to talk to and answered all of the questions we had (both about how Doctor Who was filmed and about Cardiff in general) effortlessly. Even me and my friend, who have been huge Doctor Who fans for a very long time, learned a lot of really interesting things from Eugene over the course of this tour, and we're both very grateful for how Eugene kept the experience interactive by constantly asking us questions and prompting us to talk about different aspects of the show - it was a lot of fun! So much love, hard work and research have clearly gone into putting this tour together, and it's all delievered with a high level of enthusiasm from someone who is very passionate about this city, it's history and how television is made. If you're in Cardiff for whatever reason I would highly recommend this experience as a great way to see all of the Doctor Who highlights of the city from a guide who both knows his stuff and has a great passion for what he does. Thank you Eugene! 😊 Evie & Natalie

Reliable, friendly, knowledgable and engaging - Eugene researched and designed this tour himself. He was knowledgeable and gave plenty of time on each part of the tour to ask questions. He was willing to take photos for us and even allowed a time for buying souvenirs. He was very friendly and engaging. Highly recommended!

Fabulous tour - We organised this private tour for our family group of 6 spanning three generations. We are all interested in Dr Who although with varying levels of knowledge/ memory. Eugene was brilliant and kept us all interested and engaged. Starting from the War Memorial, over the course of nearly three hours we slowly made our way through the city and down to the Bay. We covered loads of filming sites including some inside buildings which were interesting in their own right. The tour took in the current BBC exhibition in the National Museum and included a very special site in St Johns Church, the nature of which I can’t reveal! At the Bay, Eugene included some important Torchwood information. It was a fabulous tour and thank you Eugene for working so hard for us. Six stars!

Dr Who walking tour - Me and my daughter had a great time with Eugene who was absolutely brilliant. His knowledge of all Dr Who & Torchwood episodes are huge and we all had a laugh as he took us to lots of streets and sites where filming took place, he showed us photos of the show compared to the actual streets which was amazing. Thoroughly recommended to all Dr Who and Torchwood fans past and present. We ended the tour at the museum where there was 100 years of BBC on exhibition where we saw the Tardis, a Dalek and various costumes including Sherlock the 13th Doctor and Charlie from Casualties scrubs! Thanks Eugene Marianne & Mabel 👍

Great for the whovian in your life! - Eugene was our guide & he is amazing! I didn't realize I booked a private tour, but it was amazing for my husband to chat with another huge Dr. Who fan! Eugene knows his stuff & the tour was extensive & detailed. It poured rain during our 4 hour tour but we honestly didn't care. Highly recommend!

Friendly, informative and fun tour - I booked the tour as a present for my fiancé who loves Doctor Who - I am a bit more of a casual fan but Eugene balanced the tour perfectly between us! I never felt left out and my fiancé loved the chance to really flex his knowledge and find out more about the locations. We started in the Civic Quarter and worked our way down to the Bay. Even though we have lived in Cardiff for almost a year there was so much we didn’t know about or recognise from the show. It was especially interesting seeing what was reused! I also really appreciated that he gave us a chance to stop and grab water/drinks along the way as it was quite warm that day. Eugene was professional, friendly and definitely knows his stuff. I would 100% recommend the tour to anyone!
