Tandem rental with my 8-year-old…so fun!! - I rented a tandem bike for me and my 8-year-old daughter. I was glad I did because although she’s a good cyclist, I would have felt a bit nervous with her riding on the narrow road on some busy sections with big trucks. Can’t say enough good things about Quebec Adventure Tours. They were so patient and helped us map out an awesome route! One of our favourite days in our whole 2-week Quebec holiday!

Wonderful Bike Ride on Ile d'Orleans - We had a great experience riding bikes on Ile d'Orleans. The staff were very accommodating and friendly with having our two younger children participate in the bike ride (my younger child rode a tandem bike with me). The weather was perfect and there are many areas to stop to admire the breathtaking scenery, have some chocolate or a snack or have a meal. We are not big bikers, so the hills were a challenge at times, but not too bad. The only issue I would say is that the bike lanes were sometimes very small and at times, vehicles were driving by us pretty fast. It didn't bother us, but I could see how it could be unnerving to some. Overall, I would recommend this experience.
