Mount Alexandra Lookout - Journey up the Alexandra Range and pause to take in a breathtaking panoramic view of the World Heritage Wet Tropics and Tropical Rainforest merging with the vibrant hues of the Coral Sea.

Daintree National Park - Immerse yourself in the rainforest on one of our guided elevated National Park Boardwalks. Your knowledgeable guide will lead you through this ancient rainforest, offering insights into the flora and fauna. You’ll have plenty of time for photos and questions as we search for the elusive, rare, and unique Southern Cassowary and other wildlife species in this special habitat.

Daintree Region - Enjoy lunch and a swim, complete with tea/coffee and a seasonal fruit platter, served in a stunning rainforest setting. Take the opportunity for a refreshing rainforest swim and possibly spot jungle perch, saw-shelled turtles, and the dazzling electric-blue Ulysses butterfly.

Cape Tribulation Beach - Take a leisurely stroll along the beach and boardwalk to the photographers’ platform, offering views of the mountains and coast where the ‘Rainforest meets the Reef.’

Daintree Ice Cream Company - Conclude the day with a delightful tropical fruit ice cream made from 100% locally sourced ingredients (Signature ice cream cup included).

Daintree Region - Cross the Daintree River via cable ferry before returning to your accommodation in the late afternoon.

Outback and Chillagoe Caves

Chillagoe-Mungana Caves National Park - Discover the Chillagoe Caves. Follow your guide through the fossilized remains of ancient coral reefs over 400 million years old. Once an inland sea, these limestone labyrinths are a spectacular sight.

Chillagoe Smelters - Explore the history of the Chillagoe copper smelters, with their old chimneys dominating the western horizon. Visit the remnants of the once-mighty smelters and reflect on what it was like to work there.

Balancing Rock - Visit Balancing Rock for an iconic photo opportunity. Then, view Aboriginal Rock Art and learn about some Dreamtime stories with your guide.

Chillagoe Cockatoo Hotel Motel - Enjoy lunch in the heart of Chillagoe with fellow travelers. Lunch is included, and drinks are at your own expense. We strive to accommodate special dietary requirements; please notify reservations before travel.

Granite Gorge Nature Park - A privately owned nature park near Mareeba, offering stunning scenery as you walk along the short circuit navigating massive boulders. Experience striking landscapes and abundant wildlife.

The main attraction at Granite Gorge is the rock wallabies. This colony is an endangered species unique to the Mareeba area. Additionally, you’ll encounter other native wildlife.

Explore two breathtaking Australian landscapes from Cairns, Beaches, and Port Douglas. • For the Outback Tour, a reasonable level of fitness is required, as there are steps and uneven terrain leading into the caves
