Highlights
  • Cape Town Central - Our tour starts with a pick up at your accommodation in Cape Town at 8:00 am (flexible) on this all-inclusive private tour to Table Mountain, Cape of Good Hope, and Boulders Penguins colony. We begin with a brief drive-by city orientation tour to see important monuments and buildings in the city center.

  • Bo-Kaap - From there we proceed to the Bo-Kaap (Cape Malay Quarter) for a photo opportunity with colorful houses. Your tour guide will inform you about the colorful houses and their historical meaning. Taste the Cape Malay traditional eats such as samoosas and koeksisters, which can be purchased from the local informal traders.

  • Table Mountain National Park - We travel to the Table Mountain Cableway Station where we will take the cable car to the top of the mountain to explore. See Cape Town from the top of one of the 7 Wonders of Nature, also one of the most iconic mountains in South Africa.

  • Camps Bay - We take a scenic drive along the Atlantic Seaboard with the mountains on one side and the ocean on the other, passing through Three Anchor Bay, Bantry Bay, and Clifton, and stopping in Camps Bay. Maiden’s Cove is the perfect spot for you to create memories with spectacular photos as you marvel at the magnificent views of the Twelve Apostles and Camps Bay beach. This cove is one of the best places in Cape Town to take panoramic photos of the Ocean, Camps Bay Beach combined with the views of Table Mountain, Lion’s Head, and the beautiful suburbs of Clifton, Camps Bay, etc… We call this the Kodak moment.

  • Hout Bay - Travelling along the Atlantic scenic seaboard we will pass through Llandudno, famous for some of the most expensive real estate in South Africa, until we get to Hout Bay. Arriving at Hout Bay harbor, you will have the option to either take a boat cruise to Seal Island to view the seals or you can do some shopping at the market. 1 hour

  • Seal Island - Should you choose to take the optional boat trip to Seal Island, the duration will be 45 minutes. This excursion is weather-permitting. Please take along a light jersey because the temperatures tend to drop when we are at sea. Note that we will not disembark at Seal Island but will remain on the boat and view the seals from there.

  • Chapman’s Peak - Drive Departing from Hout Bay, we drive along Chapman’s Peak and stop at the viewpoint for spectacular photos. You will soon see why it is little wonder that Chapman’s Peak is one of the most scenic routes in the world.

  • Noordhoek - Farm Village We continue our coastal journey with an optional stop in Noordhoek, with the breathtaking views of Noordhoek and Long Beach beneath us. Travelers will have the option to enjoy some of the best coffee roasted in Cape Town at the Village Roast (for their own account).

  • Cape Point - Vineyards Tasting Room An optional stop for wine tasting at the exquisite Cape Point Vineyards will be offered. Surrounded by beautiful vineyards and views of the ocean in the distance, Cool breezes from the sea make for a slow-growing season, with a late harvest that results in a truly unique Sauvignon Blanc that is recognized across the globe for its rich minerality, structure, and tone. An optional sit-down lunch in their restaurant or a picnic lunch overlooking the man-made dam comes highly recommended.

  • Cape of Good Hope - We explore the Cape of Good Hope and take our iconic photo with the Cape of Good Hope name board. Here we will also explore the Dias & Vasco Da Gama monuments. There are also beautiful beaches that you will see along the way, as well as various fauna and flora.

  • Boulders Beach Penguin Colony - Our next stop will be the Penguins colony in Boulders Beach, where your guide will escort you to the viewing point to see some of the 2,500 breeding pairs of African Penguins at close range. You may even find one or two of these enchanting creatures walking alongside you on the boardwalk.

  • Muizenberg - Our return route is past Muizenberg where you will see the coloured beach huts. The beach huts are used as changing rooms. These are reminiscent of the \

Additional Information

In Cape Town, the Cape Peninsula is a well-known natural feature. It’s a stunning rocky peninsula that stretches 30 kilometers from Table Mountain to the southernmost tip of Cape Town.

The peninsula is located inside Table Mountain National Park, which is famous for its tremendous biodiversity.

The Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve sprawls across the rocky bluff. It’s a protected natural reserve with antelope, the endangered Cape mountain zebra, and other unusual animal species. The reserve is also a sanctuary for maritime birds, with 250 documented bird species.

Cape Point marks the extreme tip of the Cape Peninsula. It’s a well-known landmark that is sometimes misidentified as Africa’s southernmost point. On Cape Point, there are two national historic monuments dedicated to the world’s greatest famous explorers: Bartolomeu Dias and Vasco da Gama
(who was the first European explorer to round Cape Point in 1488).

Two day trips out of Cape Town - We travelled with Clement for two wonderful day trips, first down the peninsula from Cape Town to Cape of Good Hope, with the most magnificent views, then to Stollenbosch and wine country. It was a pleasure making plans with Bienvenu. Clement was a very professional guide and driver, very knowledgable about history and every place we visited and very accommodating. We had a great time with Clement and highly recommend planning with Bienvenue!
