  • Cape Town Central - Pick up at your accommodation in Cape Town and set off on a drive-by city tour to see the historical monuments and buildings in the city center. This will afford you a better understanding of the rest of the tour day.
  • Bo-kaap - Then we will stop in the Bo-Kaap (Cape Malay Quarter) for a photo opportunity with the colorful houses. Your tour guide will explain to you what is the significance of the brightly colored houses in the Bo-Kaap. Please be sure to remain close to your tour guide at all times and keep your belongings with you.
  • Table Mountain Aerial Cableway - Guided tour at the top of Table Mountain. Your tour guide driver will escort you to the top of the mountain to give you a guided tour. Please take note that this attraction is weather depending.

Please note that Table Mountain cable car tickets are not included in our tour price. Clients are required to purchase their own Table Mountain tickets to prevent delays at the entrance. In this way, you will skip the ticketing queue but there is still a queue during busy periods to board the cable car.

  • Chapman’s Peak Drive - A photo opportunity will be on the program along one of the most scenic drives in the world. Chapman’s peak is one of the tourist attractions not to be missed en route to the Cape of Good hope. We will stop at the viewpoint to take these spectacular photos.
  • Boulders Beach Penguin Colony - Stop for a viewing of the African penguins. For many of our Guests, Boulders beach also known as home to African Penguins is the highlight of this tour. Therefore, we will allow you enough time to discover the main colony. You may even find yourself walking alongside one of these enchanting creatures on the boardwalk.
  • Cape of Good Hope - From here, we will drive straight to the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve, where we will explore the Dias and Vasco Da Gama crosses. Cape of Good Hope is where the two ocean currents meet and is the most west southern part of Africa. Cape Point is also known as the meeting place of the cold Benguela and the warm Agulhas currents.

Blown away in Cape Town - Outstanding tour of Cape Town and Cape Peninsula. After a delay in starting our day, we were delighted to learn our guide Sylvie and driver Zain had waited for us, we had a total of 8 in our van (all off ship, but independently booked) Due to high winds, we were not able to go up Table Mountain in the morning, so we headed for Bo Kaap first to see the colourful buildings and super views from there. We had time to buy takeaway coffee for our hour long journey to the Cape of Good Hope, it delighted us with views of hills, villages and stunning coastline, the National Park was itself beautiful and we saw wild Ostriches on the beach! We climbed up to the oldest lighthouse and again the views were breathtaking. Our guide and driver whisked us away to a local town called Simon’s Town where we overlooked the Harbour and sampled locally scoured meats we had never had before and it was very good!! After lunch we went to Boulders beach to visit a colony of small penguins, gorgeous, cute little birds that were quite used to being looked at by us humans….. what a treat to be so close. Our driver and guide then took us up Table Mountain as far as the cable car station, again the views were beautiful and the sky was clear, but oh my was it windy! The perfect end to a perfect day….. Highly recommended and we’d love to visit again for longer.

Great day in Cape Town with Alex - We were on a private tour with Alex to table top, to seal island, to see the penguins, and to cape of hood hope. Alex was such a great person to spend the day with. He was super friendly, very knowledgeable and navigated all the traffic around Cape Town expertly. The day before we had already driven to cape of good hope on our own so we told Alex and he asked if we wanted to go wine tasting instead. Great suggestion!! We had a wonderful day with Alex and were sad to see him leave. Thank you Alex for the great day!

great sights, great guide - the penguins at Boulder Beach were great and the setting is beautiful. Our guide, Alex was flexible to our interests. We said we had seen enough seals and weren't interested seeing more. He also arranged reservations at a waterfront restaurant for our lunch. He was a very good driver and easy to talk to.
