Typically, the most appropriate time to observe the Southern Right Whale in our marine areas is between August and November. One of the prime locations for whale spotting is Walker Bay in Hermanus. These creatures, which frequently approach within 50 meters of the beach, are known for their wonderful displays of breaching, lob tailing, spy hopping, and mating rituals.
