An excellent place to visit. - I can't speak highly enough about the Cheetah Outreach, the animals are really well looked after by the staff who treat it as a vocation rather than just a job. It is cheap to visit and set up as a conservation project to protect cheetahs which are an endangered species. There are other animals to see such as Caracal, jackels and meerkats. People have asked me if the cheetahs are well looked after and are they tranquilized before you go in. The cheetahs are very well looked after, they are not tranquilized and are not made to do anything they don't want to. The handler's wait until the cheetahs are relaxed before you are allowed to go in with them, there are two handlers, one with the cheetah and the other will take your photos and videos for you on your phone. You are allowed to stroke the cheetah's down their backs which they like. The centre also breed Anatolian dogs which instinctively protect livestock. They are a large breed from Turkey. The pups are given to farmers and placed with their animals (sheep, goats etc). The idea behind it is that farmers kill animals that attack their flocks, because the dogs chase off the predators the farmers don't need to kill them, this is a win win solution, the farmers animals are protected and so are the predatory animals. If you are in Cape Town or the surrounding area please visit and support this project. After visiting the Cheetah Outreach we went on to strand beach which is a nice sandy beach but you don't need long there, we then went on to Gordon's Bay where we had a relaxing lunch at a restaurant on the beach. Gordon's Beach is quite a nice place to visit.

A must do! - This was an amazing tour. We went in May so we were the only couple, basically a private tour. The Cheetah encounter was unbelievable! The views of Gordon’s bay and Strand beach were beautiful! Our driver was wonderful and gave a great tour with lots of information along the way!

有趣的體驗 - This is a highly engaging itinerary. The driver picked us up at the designated location at 9:30 AM, and we arrived at the Cheetah Park around 10:00 AM. We started with a self-guided tour of the park. We paid an additional fee to encounter with the cheetah. The park also houses other animals. I highly recommend this tour!

Incredible Cheetah Experience - The Cheetah experience was incredible. The organization clearly cares for the comfort and well-being of the cheetahs which does require some patience but it will pay off. The organization also performs community outreach to keep all wild animals safe. Our tour guide was very helpful, knowledgeable, and flexible. Given the chance we would book this tour again.

Great experience - What a treat to to visit the Cheetah Centre. We did both the adult and cub encounter and it was great. Visiting the nearby beaches was great as well with a nice lunch (not included) at a local place. Tour guide was nice.

An emotional encounter - Thabo, our guide was on time, knowledgeable and very pleasant. When the chief handler asked us if we knew how many spots are on a cheetah, my wife put up her hand, I know, my guide told me! Paid extra for the young cheetah experience, that was delightful and so rewarding, thank you for a great day

Adult cheetah encounter is once-in-lifetime experience - The adult cheetah encounter is a once-in-a-lifetime experience, so definitely do this tour. Henry, our tour guide, did a great job coordinating our time, both when onsite for the encounter and by showing us several popular - and warm Indian Ocean water - beaches to seek out for swimming, sunning, etc. in the future.
