On all trips, you’ll be able to target both the mighty African Catfish and the shy Carp. Catfish is a highly invasive species in this area is generally released. Whichever species you end up targeting, the guide’s goal is to have you catch your personal best fish on this trip. I guarantee you to catch a minimum of 3 fish in a 6 hour period or you get a refund.
We welcome anglers of all skill levels and ages. All travelers will be provided with top-notch Penn and Okuma gear, comfortable chairs to fish from, and a cooler full of cold drinks and snacks. Fishing permits are also included in the price so no need to worry about getting one ahead of time.

This is a genuine South African fishing journey, complemented by local South African food and beer. Alcohol is only served to those above the age of 18, while individuals under 18 are provided with soft drinks, juice or water. The trip offers a South African style of Carp and Catfish angling, with a likely opportunity to spot local wildlife such as wild birds, river otters, or the rock hyrax depending on the location of the fishing spot. Your comfort matters; therefore, a heavy-duty gazebo is provided to protect you from weather conditions, and fishing gear and baits are included in the cost. Feel free to bring your own fishing gear if you prefer.
