A true Tuscan Farmhouse Dining Experience. - From the moment you arrive there's a feeling your in for something special. Upon entering the home of Antonietta you're made to feel like family. The session starts with a sit-down at the family table with a glass of locally produced white wine and a conversation about what to expect from the class and how things are going to progress. Under Antonietta's watchful eye we made fresh pasta, a simple yet delicious sauce and toppings for bruschetta. Once the pasta rolling and prep work is complete, you are sat down at a family sized dining room table and treated to wonderful antipasti and accompaniments that are made by Antonietta, her Italian cowboy husband Piero or local artisans. All this while the pasta and sauce that you created are being cooked in the family kitchen, Once the sauce is ready, the pasta is put into boiling water to finish the cooking process, within a couple of minutes of being put into the water, the pasta is drained and mixed with the sauce to complete the marriage of this traditional Tuscan dish. The dinner is served family style with ample white and red locally sourced wines and freshly baked breads. All while being entertained with stories of local legend told by Antonietta and Piero (mostly thru a translator, but, none of the magic is lost). We left the experience with full stomachs and a desire to return to visit and share a meal with our new Tuscan family.

Genuine Italian Kitchen Experience - What fun we had! We learned so much from Antonietta-techniques I will keep with me forever. The food was fresh and her instructions were so clear. The best part was getting to be in genuine Italian kitchen learning from someone so kind and patient. We had our 4 yr old grandson with us and Antonietta lovingly taught him how to make pasta! He’s still talking about it! It felt like family by the time we’re done. It was 5 stars-highly recommend!!

THE best experience. - This is the best class I've ever taken and the family is fantastic and friendly. They always have an interpreter to help with the language. I've gone several times and learn something every time I attend a class. After cooking, you sit at their amazing table with tons of food and wine that you didn't cook but they did previously. You will not go away hungry!! Highly recommend.

Cooking Class with Antoinette in Lucca - We spent a perfect day with Piero and Antoniette and translator Benetta. Fresh herbs from the garden to make bruschetta. The finest flour and fresh eggs for making pasta. We cooked, laughed and at the end of our class we sat around the table and enjoyed the food we made. It was truly an Italian experience we will treasure forever.

Wonderful experience - Truly the highlight of our trip, we were so happy we booked this experience afterwards! It felt almost like we were at home, visiting our family, such a personal and warm experience, where you get to know the raw traditions of this region, while spending time with such beautiful people, ready to open their hearts to everyone that steps into their home. It was a hands-on activity, and we did learn a lot of tips and tricks on the Italian way of cooking, besides all the literal sweating while making the pasta dough 😂 We had so much fun and felt so close to Antoinetta and Pietro, Benedetta, and each other. I totally recommend this cooking class!
