The visit to Ban Gioc, the monastery on the hill and the nearby cave were great experiences. We enjoyed our boat ride to Ba Be lake, swimming in the lake and our stay at the Ba Be lake homestay. We had vegetarian diet requirements which were well arranged by our tour guide David throughout the tour.
