- Miradouro da Portela - The sightseeing point of Portela offers a spectacular view over the North side of the island, in particular over the coastal village of Porto da Cruz. After a small break in a nice bar we continue our tour inside the Reserve Natura 2000 network, along dirt roads and trails, always with the endemic Laurel Forest surrounding the trails.
- Machico - After some kilometers and some small climbs, we reach Fajã dos Rolos. Here we will take an old road down to Machico, finishing at sea level, just in time for a drink and a swim!
