Worth it! - I recommend it with two hands. One of the best experiences. The food was delicious, our host was very entertaining. The staff were polite. We learnt new things about the Mayan and the food. Definitely worth it.

Worth it! - Pros. The property was beautiful: Punta Venado Beach Club by Cancun. Beach front, gorgeous trees, sand, sail coverings. The restaurant area itself was huge and authentic to the vibe. The "gourmet" food was pretty good, the amounts were small, maybe that's the American in me, lol. It was nice to learn that there is more to Mexican food than tacos and tostadas There was champagne, wine pairings, tequila, mezcal. Not a drinker, but the people next to us were very excited. We loved learning about the Tequila etc. The host, Terry, also seemed to enjoy his work. Funny guy, kind, courteous to his co-workers; sharing the credit to the servers, etc. Ines, Luis, Carlos, Chef Edgar! They were all great! Planning to use the recipes that Terry emailed us The driver picked us up on time, the ride was far, but worth it; We came from Mayakoba Fairmont. Cons: Not his fault, but as far as my experience personally. I think it would have been better to create a more interactive vibe to meet the other guests. Exchange names, origins of travel, things to unite us. We felt isolated because the folks next to us were only talking to their tablemates. Which is fine, but Terry asks you sit across from your date and its difficult to talk across the table. Just a thought. Group photos, like on the website would have been fun

Amazing - I’d give this more stars if I could. It was a highlight in a life of travel and a memory to keep me warm during the pandemic since my visit was in February 2020. I was alone and they sat me with another Canadian solo and a couple from France who didn’t speak English. We had so much fun and my old French teachers would have been mighty pressed with the level of my revived French. The food, ever morsel was sublime and the entire evening absolutely amazing. If I return t Rivera Maya, I’ll be budgeting for this.

A wonderful date night with food and wine! - Terry our guide through the food tour was absolutely amazing. He gave us education regarding the Mayan culture and the food regarding it. Nelvia and Joel and Chef Edgar were the best and I'm completely full with wine and food!! Thank you for a wonderful date night and accommodating my gluten allergy.

Excellent food and Great Beach - Even Better Service - Terry, Chet, Edgar, Marrroro, Joel, and Jaret did a great job. Had a blast! The beach here was very secluded. It's a very good place for a date.

Awesome!! - Just wanna tell everybody how amazing this company is last Thursday we boarded the van at the reef I think the van was number 41 anyways. He took us and 2 other couples out to the travellers table for dinner .Well after an amazing night of food and drink he was so nice to drop us off right in front of our condo in playacar.and this is where it gets good we’ll we got off the bus with the other couple that came with us got into the condo and realized I left my pack on the bus which had my wallet my phone and all my I’d in it and we were flying out in the morning. Well we tried everything calling the company but they were closed so now panic is setting in and 20 minutes goes by so I go out to the guard building out front of the condo and here comes the van pulls in and says hey you forgot this on my bus and then said check the bag make sure everything is there. Ohhh his name was Carlos I tipped him good and thanked him a lot cause this could have been bad. Thanks Carlos van 41

Magical night with unforgettable food... - Amazing night out with fantastic food and entertainment! We felt comfortable and secure from the first second, amazing location by the beach and a magical night with thunderstorm and rain sheltered in a warm and cosy atmosphere. We were celebrating my partner's birthday and could not have asked for a better experience.

Best of Mexico - We were driven to an exquisite private beach and treated to a leisurely 5 course dinner with wine and tequila pairings. Our host and gastronomic tour guide Claudia treated us to a dinner that was delicious and educational. I'm still hoping she sends us some of the recipes, because the bean soup was the best I've ever had. The Mexican wines were eye-opening too---surprisingly complex

Not just a dinner! - This was an amazing experience for our group! Claudia really made some food newbies feel educated and welcomed. She greeted us all with hugs and guided us through activities, food, drinks, and a night to remember. Highly recommended! This is not just “a dinner”
