Fantastic tour - Fantastic tour with plenty of time in the water with a variety of sites. Excellent guides (K and C, TripAdvisor won’t let me spell out their names? Lol) who made it a great experience. A plus side is small group size (8). Would definitely use them again. After the tour they have photos/videos available for purchase at a pretty reasonable price.

Very happy to recommend! - We are couple of 60yr old Aussies who wanted a small group half day snorkelling trip. We had a great day. Captain “Chou” was very good, as was “ Khi-Khi” and their very capable photographer extraordinaire! We booked the day before. We were collected from the agreed meeting point on time and dropped off back at our accommodation nearby. One of us is not a confident swimmer and both of us were mildly sea sick. We felt well looked after and safe at all times. We were taken to 5 different locations, and swam for 20-30minutes at each, which was long enough for us. The fish were gorgeous! We really enjoyed ourselves and felt truly cared for throwing up over the edge! We are very happy to recommend this group for a half day trip!

Swam with Turtles!!! - Such an amazing experience. We had a great time swimming with turtles and unique fish. The tour guides were incredibly helpful and fun too!

Would Definitely Do This Again! - This snorkel trip was perfect! My mother has limited mobility and they accommodated her and helped so much. The length of the trip was just right and we still got to see everything promised! They sent a van to transport us to and from the resort so we didn't have to worry about getting somewhere in a foreign country. The small group was awesome because our guide was able to keep up with us and show us everything. The turtles were so cool and the shipwreck was an unforgettable experience. The water was so clear so we got some great photos and videos. It was great having the photographer in the water with us! I would highly recommend Total Snorkel Cancun!

An idyllic morning on and under the sea - Amazing day trip for our seven person party. Captain Emilio, Peti and Manuel took us on our private boat, they were great hosts- very attentive to our needs and supportive of our beginner abilities!
They supplied all equipment needed and water mid trip. The sights were amazing!
Would highly recommend at the very reasonable online price which included private transport from our hotel.

So good, we did it again!! - Our second activity with Total Snorkel (because the first one was so good) - we absolutely loved this!! Pick up from our hotel - on time and no problems. Friendly welcome from staff upon arrival. We paid our port tax, as we thought we needed to. When we mentioned this was our second activity with them, they stated our port tax was still valid and cancelled our port tax transaction straight away. Our guide, Chuy (not short for Chewbacca) is an excellent guide; it felt like we had a good amount of time in the water at each of the stops. We spotted a turtle before we got to the actual turtle stop - Chuy was happy for us to have extra time with the turtle before moving on, it was not a rushed experience at all. Our captain, Charley (I think...) was also very friendly and professional. Equipment is good quality - Tusa mask and snorkel. Chuy made sure the mask fitted properly before we set off and that we were comfortable with our equipment. We were really lucky with our dives and saw three turtles, parrot fish, rays and barracudas, among many, many others. Photo package is available - we never felt pressured to buy this, but it's well worth the money. All in all, a highly recommended activity 🤿👍

Great Snorkeling Experience Overall - Overall, it was a good experience. Communication was clear, the guides were friendly, and the equipment was good quality. The dock was small and not crowded, which was nice. There were changing areas and showers on site.
Just note that even though transport is included, they don’t pick up from Airbnb, so we had to get to the meeting spot ourselves. Other than that, everything was great.

Above and beyond staff - Total Snorkel was great to work with before the trip and during. We have a daughter in a wheelchair and often boats aren't that accessible. I explained our situation to see if they would let us carry her onto the boat and they were great at helping us get her into the boat and comfortable. On the boat we had our captain Juan and snorkel guide Daisy and they were the best. Daisy found much better snorkel spots and was great at spotting sealife compared to previous snorkel trips in the same area. We really used them though when our boat broke down in the ocean. Daisy and Juan made this misfortune fun and relaxing. Transferring our daughter in a wheelchair to another boat in the ocean would have been hard or even impossible without their expertise but they made it all easy. And they were great at making up for the misfortune with the boat to make sure we didn't miss out on any time or activities. They really went above and beyond to make sure we felt safe and had a great day. I would use these guys everytime we come back to Mexico in a second!!

Great for kids and first timers! Friendly and fun! - This excursion was amazing. I highly recommend the group that does this excursion. Everyone was very friendly and it was a great bang for your buck. If you have children who are not strong swimmers, they will have life vest, and they can also hang onto the guides and flotation device. If you are more experience, you can have smaller life vest that allow you to dive. Food is not included, so you will want to bring snacks as you will be tired after all the swimming. The coral reef was not super impressive due to tourism, but seeing turtles swim out in the wild was amazing.
