Wonderful day. - Fantastic tour. Maria was so knowledgeable and informative, as well as enthusiastic and full of fun. Chichen Itza, the Cenote and surrounding area, and Ek-Balam all exceeded my expectations. I was especially impressed with Ek-Balam as it is not as well known and there were very few people there. We could climb and experience the ruins in a much more personal way, and the views of the jungle from the top were amazing. My only criticism is they needed to be stricter with making guests get back on time to our meeting points.

Great trip including hidden gem! - This was a great trip with our amazing guide Carmen and driver Rodrigo. Chichén Itzá was impressive but Ek Balam a real highlight as it was a lot less busy and felt like a hidden gem. Carmen shared her amazing knowledge of Mayan culture throughout the trip. She and Rodrigo were simply lovely people. It was a long, long day with a lot of time spent sitting on a minibus but I’m not sure you can avoid that and ultimately it was worth it for the experience.

Pleasant and Informative Tour - I had a very positive experience on this tour and would highly recommend it. Our guide, Carmel, was both knowledgeable and caring, ensuring that everyone in the group was well-informed and comfortable throughout the day. Her expertise added a lot of value to the trip, and her attentive nature made the whole experience very pleasant. 5 stars Charlie

Small Group tour to Chichen Itza - Our small group tour to Chichen Ithaca, Cenote, and Eklalam was one of the best tours we have ever taken. We had 7 people in our tour in a van for 15. Carmen probably the best guide we have ever had and was excellent all day. She was a book of knowledge and spoke good English. Rodrigo our driver took great care of us and always had cold water ready for us when we arrived or departed a site. The Chichen Itza with it’s pyramids, ball field, and other historic sites were breath taking. We arrived at 9am and finished before the big buses arrived. The Cenote and lunch were very good. The restaurant charged $45 for a soda, $65 for a beer, and $90 for a mixed drink in pesos. Our favorite site was Eklalam. This historic site was smaller than Chichen. We were able to climb to the top of several building on site. They have the tallest site in the entire region that you can climb. The knowledge and education were obtained from Carmen was amazing. She was always giving us in-depth onsite into the Mayan culture and history. One of the best things about NS Vacations Tours and this tour is they do not drop you off at a tourist trap shopping area. It is a full day of historic sites. I highly recommend anyone wanting to visit Chichen Itza, a Cenote, and Eklalam, book with this Small Group Tour and NS Vacations Cancun.

Excellent tour - This was a brilliant tour. We were taken to chichen Itza, cenote for a swim and lunch, and Ek Balam. It was relaxed, and we avoided the crowds. Carmen is an excellent tour guide, knowledgeable and friendly. She made sure we had plenty of time to do everything we wanted and didn't miss anything. Would happily do this again.

Carmen was an amazing and... - Carmen was an amazing and knowledgeable guide, seeing both Chichen Itza and Ek Balam with a nice stop in between for a dip in the Cenote and a great lunch buffet was an amazing way to spend a day of our trip.

Cacaxtla & Chichen Itza - Chichen Itza lived up to expectations: fantastic. But crowded, even though we left Cancun at 6:30 a.m. Swimming in the cenote was fun, and lunch was satisfying. We really enjoyed Cacaxtla (Ek Balam), the second archaeological site on the tour. Our first impression after Chichen Itza was "where is everyone"? We practically had Cacaxtla to ourselves, even at peak season (January 2, 2026). We were allowed to climb the pyramids, which was a real treat.
