Great Tour of One of the Wonders of the World - We got the early morning (5am) tour which was great as you get to Chichen Itza when it opens at 8am and before the crowds. The journey is long but the drive is smooth and straight so there is no risk of travel sickness. Jonathan, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable and friendly and did the tour in both Spanish and English so everyone understood. He gave a great introduction to Mayan culture. Ramiro made sure everyone was on time and everything worked so the day worked seamlessly and I cannot recommend this tour enough. One thing that I haven’t seen previously on the booking is that the lifejackets and locker is mandatory at the Ceynote so you may as well pay for it at the start. These three were like the prime Barcelona midfield of Xavi, Iniesta and Busquets. Manuel was metronomic in getting us from place to place, on time in one piece, much like pass master Xavi. Jonathan possessed all the pizzazz, skills and versatility of Iniesta, calmly moving from defense to attack in a matter of moments, whilst Ramiro was like Busquets, cleaning up at the back with the admin to make the whole show run smoothly. “If you watch the tour, you won’t see Ramiro but if you watch Ramiro, you will see the entire tour” - Sir Alex Ferguson. If he had done this tour.

Manuel and his colleague... - Manuel and his colleague Omar give a very good service. Manuel is very knowledgeable rare asset of country. He could get PhD, but he got family to feed. Ironically PhD's salary in Mexico is not fair as its profession should deserved. We also feel sorry about society bully Maya people that should get everyone attention on disappearing ancient culture.

Enjoyed the experience. - Starting early and entering Chichen itza on the dot of opening time was very useful for avoiding the crowds and heat. Manuel was an excellent tour guide. Very informative, entertaining, knowledgeable, polite and friendly. The bus was clean and comfortable. Pickup from the hotel was convenient and on the dot. Facilities at the Cenote were excellent, although the food was average. Would highly recommend the all-inclusive option, as there are no hidden costs or surprises. A day well spent.

Very long 16 hour tour... - Very long 16 hour tour with 50 other people made it hard to hear. Didn’t follow itinerary at all. Bus does not check to have all passengers before leaving

Would not recommend - I didn’t have any expectations, but the tour was not of high quality. We were picked up from our hotel at 5am, and I wasn't sure how many others we were picking up on the way. The driver didn't communicate or tell us what was happening for such an early pick-up time. The tour guide on the bus talked with a microphone the entire time. It was informative at first, but talking for 2 hours straight was excessive. Added with the long travel times and the heat, it felt nauseating being in the bus with someone speaking. The first stop was good, the cenote stop felt like a consumer trap for tourists. Just get a private car to Chichen Itza and read the plaques. Skip the rest.

BAD EXPERIENCE - THE GUIDE EXCELLENT, But the transport from the hotel to the place where the bus was picking us up, a disheveled man, looking terrible, with the dirty vehicle in bad shape and left us despite we were punctual to pick us up and had to pay penalty and reschedule . We were seriously threatened when we made the claim for not having allowed us to participate in the activity on the scheduled date

Let’s just say I did not... - Let’s just say I did not do the tour because they couldn’t arrange a pick up location so my reservation was cancelled a few hours before the tour started. I’m still waiting on a full refund.

Solo (female) travelers BEWARE!! - Tour was going well up until we got to the cenote portion. First off, the cenote they take you to is very lackluster and a tourist trap. The shops they guide you through are filled with mass produced, overpriced goods that cost 5x of what you will find in even the major cities around the Yucatan peninsula, which are already overpriced themselves. SECONDLY, the actual cenote itself is very underwhelming. The water is shallow and dirty and they do not even allow you to go down to the area without paying extra for a life vest, even if you are not getting in the water. Money grab. LASTLY, and the main reason i am giving this tour a 1 star, is the weird and concerning experience i had during the buffet lunch that comes with tour. (Food was awful btw!) The buffet is free except drinks. In the middle of my meal, my drink was taken from my table before i was finished with it when i got up to get a second plate. At first i thought it was just an accident and brushed it off. But after i got up again to check out the food, i saw the drink was placed back on my table again. The time the drink was missing was about 5-10 minutes. I asked the waiter why my drink was taken and then brought back. And asked for a new fresh one as that is a safety and health concern. He proceeded to refuse to bring me another drink and gaslighted me by saying that my drink had never left my table. I know for certain that wasn't true. I have eyes. There's no way i would miss a bright orange drink. It was such a strange thing to do and made me think he did something bad to my drink. I refused to pay for the drink since he was being weird/rude. The waiter said he would tell our tour guide that i was refusing to pay and the tour guide stated he would pay for the drink on my behalf since i wasn't going to. The tour guides demeanor was very nonchalant and dismissive about the situation as if he wasn't surprised this was happening and didn't care about my concerns. Which makes me think he might be in on it. Just a very strange experience overall. I don't think this a safe company to do guided tours with. If you are traveling solo, especially as a woman, i would advise against going with this company or going to the cenote they work with.

I was waiting for a... - I was waiting for a pickup at the hotel as advised by the tour. I did not see any bus but was told the driver left after waiting for 15 mins. And it was tagged as no show so no refund.
