The best part is that no prior boating experience is necessary! Our 13 ft speedboats are user-friendly, safe, stable, and perfect for beginners. The team will teach you how to navigate (steering the wheel just like a car) your own speedboat. You will follow one of the highly-trained tour guides throughout the tour as they lead you through the stunning mangrove canals and Punta Nizuc Bay. The snorkeling activity takes place at the breathtaking Punta Nizuc coral reef, part of the world’s second-largest coral reef barrier, renowned for its crystal-clear waters, coral reefs, and underwater museum*.
*Visiting the underwater museum is recommended only for experienced swimmers.

- Participants from 4 to 17 years old must be accompanied by an adult
- No pregnant women allowed
- Not recommended for participants with back problems, heart complaints or other serious medical conditions such as asthma or claustrophobia (just for snorkeling)
- We recommend you to bring your own towel and dry clothes
- You can present either a printed or an electronic voucher for this activity
- This service requires a payment of $20.00 USD per person prior to boarding, payable in cash for use of marine natural elements (Art. 198 of the Act Federal rights)

- Persons under the influence of drugs, alcohol, or any other illicit substance are not allowed to participate in the tour and will not be able to get a refund.

So much fun - So much fun! Our tour guide Jorge was great! Very knowledgeable and amazing with the boats.

Magical experience - It was our first time riding the speedboat and snorkeling. We are not swimmers, but that was no issue. For non-swimmers, please let them know ahead of time & they will help you.
Our guide, Carlos, was awesome. Professional, Super fun, and very humble person. He was clear with his instructions and even helped us during snorkeling. The overall experience was magical. Seeing so many fish, beautiful coral reefs, and statues was just breathtaking. The drone shot was brilliant (you've to pay for photos & videos)
- Their snorkel kit includes glasses, snorkel tube (new) & fins. Bring your own snorkel if you have one.
- Boat ride was an incredible experience, do as instructed, and you'll be fine. Boats are have plenty of space for 2 people. You also have a small locker on the boat where you can keep your bag, shoes, or anything you don't want to get wet.
- The water where they take snorkeling was not too deep, so you can easily stand with fins on.
The overall activity completes within 2 or 2.5 hours. Pick a 9 AM or 12 PM slot as you have the best visibility at the time, and fewer boats in the water (meaning fewer waves to battle with).
I highly recommend Jungle Tours, will definitely do this again whenever I am back in Cancun.

Great TIme! - What a great time! Would highley recommend this to anyone. Guides were great and boats were pretty fast. The reef was amazing with a ton of fish. Would do this again in a heartbeat!

Safe and exciting. Rare. - I've been snorkeling in many places! This speedboat-snorkelling experience was special and very memorable, the speedboat was more exciting than expected and great. Snorkelling is in the middle of the sea, surprisingly safe!

Very fun and beautiful attraction! Recommend to any tourists. - This was a unique fun experience! We were offered these tickets after doing a time share through our resort. We were initially interested in riding jet ski’s but people informed us to try this instead. I’m really glad we did the jungle tour over a jet ski ride.
When you arrive you have to pay a $20 USD dock fee per person, you’re then gathered with your group to be cleansed through the tribe ritual.
IF you have COPD or ASTHMA inform the staff as it is a potent heavy smoke waved around your head to perform the cleansing, may trigger some people.
After that you move along to the docks and are given a brief safety lesson. We had three in our boat (family) and were briefed on how to use the boat (speed, forward, backward, etc).
After about a 20-30 min ride you arrive to the snorkeling area. You’re given a new snorkel (to which you can keep or dispose of at the end) and a pair of goggles. Hop off the boat and snorkel for about 20 minutes. When it’s time to get back into the boat, the guide remains in the boat, so he will help you to get back into the boat, but some arm strength to lift yourself into the boat makes it easier. Then you ride back to the dock.
Very unique beautiful scenic ride. Once back on land, they have lunch ready for you with three tacos and a drink, very tasty!
The only con is the price of the photos. They have a member taking photos of you during the cleansing and during the ride, really fun photos, keepsakes. But the cost is rather high at $30USD for 1 (possibly 2) printed photos or $50-60USD for the whole package digitally.
Overall I would return to this jungle adventure tours. We had Flash as our guide and he was excellent. He made the journey so fun, very energetic and funny. It was overall a great experience.

Fun, great views and not rushed - Carlos was an excellent guide who gave easy to remember instructions. He wanted everyone to have a fun but fun time. We were able to see everything that he told us we would see.
Downside is being asked for a massage before/after the tour, pressure purchase pictures and the need to have $20 each CASH for taxes. It is listed in the description way at the bottom but not added into the total cost.
