Great service! On time and professional - Great experience with private transfer between airport/hotel. Driver was ready and waiting for us and drove safely and professionally. We’re glad we booked private and didn’t have to stop at multiple resorts.

Hidden Fees - When you land, keep walking allllllllll the way outside for the orange flags. You get to stand in line with shared & private transportation- there is no difference. If you don’t tip you are ignored until after some time has gone by to get to your transportation. The ride was comfortable. The return private transportation was on time and quickly delivered us to the airport.

Waited over an hour at the airport for our shuttle! - we waited over an HOUR for our transportation while standing at the airport, kept getting shuffled around, and no one was giving us an answer as to when our driver would arrive, at one point we were walked down to the end of the transportation center, waited some more, then were walked back. In the end they found another driver, who worked 2 hours past his shift, to drive us to our hotel!

Do not use this service if you have any other options available. - We had a 7:39am departure trip from Cancun back to Houston Texas. The evening before I booked a private transfer from our hotel to the airport. I am emphasizing private transfer as the van did not have to stop anywhere and pick anybody else up. They only had to transport us. Our departure time for our flight was 7:40 in the morning. The driving distance from the hotel to the airport is approximately 20 to 30 minutes. The security gate at that time of the morning is next to nothing. When you book a trip it asks you for your departure airline and departure flight and departure time. It then decides for you what time it wants to pick you up. In this case, it told me it wanted to pick me up at 4:09 in the morning. This is way overkill. I would be sitting at the airport for over three hours with this arrangement. I called and talked to customer service to try to ask if they could pick me up at 5:20 AM instead. That would still get us to the airport before six and give us an hour and 40 minutes to get through security, which again is nonexistent, practically at that time of the morning and to get to our gate. They refuse to change the time. We arrived to the airport at approximately 4:30. We got through security in about five minutes. And then proceeded to wait at our gate for three hours before we could board to go home. It would’ve been much better to just call a plane taxi or an Uber. It was ridiculous that they would not work with us. Plus they charge you $65 to boot. Hopefully I don’t fall asleep before our plane actually departs. I will not be using their service ever again.

If I could give 0 stars, I would - Booking with nexus tours was a waste of money and time. We had 4 bookings with me (transfer to and from the airport, 2 excursions) and they failed to pick us up 3 out of 4 times. It was impossible to get anyone who could help us - we tried the chat on the app, calling and text messaging. Nothing but excuses and blaming us for their failure to pick us up. In one instance, they gave 3 different reasons for why no one picked us up. Would never use this company again.

Transfer dont show - My flight was delayed, I asked beforehand if that was a problem and the answer was no. I could have gone with tui for free if I hadn't. Arriving at the airport I reported to the Nexus booth.. there they saw my reservation but after 45 minutes they had no transfer for me. I was asked to take a taxi myself and pay and keep the receipt I could then claim again... but now they do not want to pay it back.. several times at the Nexus stand at the resort.. “No show” is said .. this is a real shame, they just left me at the airport late at night and had to figure it out for themselves. Now I've lost money on a private transfer and the cost of the taxi. Whereas if they had said you'd better take the tui transfer then nothing would have been wrong.

Is your vacation worth the risk? - Even with providing all details their agent didn’t have the reservation when we showed up. Another nexus tours operator showed up later and said it was showing on the screen. They consistently mess up (multiple trips, multiple tours) and have terrible communication during the issues. Don’t risk it with Nexus, isn’t your vacation worth an extra $10 to book a tour with a reliable tour company. Btw doesn’t seem to matter if you book with Nexus directly, via West Jet or at your hotel. Every single time they have messed up.

Nexus Tours scam - My wife and I booked a private shuttle to the airport. Our Nexus rep told us they would pick us up at 5pm for our 845pm flight. We arrived at the lobby at 430pm and we're told the shuttle came at 3pm. So we ended up having to pay a taxi 1000 pesos for a trip to the airport. We have tried getting a refund multiple times but only get a runaround. Do not use this company if you have a choice.

Private transfer promised but service not provided as agreed - This was my first time visiting Cancun and my first experience after landing was extremely disappointing. I prepaid for a private airport transfer because I wanted a safe and reliable arrival. After check in I waited a long time and was given false pickup times while other passengers who arrived later were taken first. Staff avoided me when I asked again and told me to cancel or pay more. After a long international flight I was exhausted and felt forced to pay an extra 70 dollars for transportation to my hotel which is only about ten miles away. I clearly confirmed multiple times that this would be a private ride. However less than one minute after leaving the airport the driver stopped and tried to pick up another passenger. Only after both of us refused did the driver continue. This service was not provided as promised and caused unnecessary stress for a first time visitor. I would strongly advise travelers to be very cautious when booking airport transportation with this company.

Horrible service……BE CAREFUL - Ive used this service a few times and haven’t had any issues. This time was an unacceptable experience. We booked private transport from our hotel to the airport at 1045. At about 0930 we went and stored our baggage so we could get breakfast before leaving. After being seat for breakfast for about 5 minutes, one of the bellhops got me from breakfast and told me our ride was here.. I spoke with him for a few minutes and told him we weren’t schedule until 1045. He walked with me out front to talk to the driver and another driver pulled up stating he was picking us up as well. After showing both drivers my voucher and my email communication with Nexus that stated 1045, one driver said so sorry. One tried multiple times to call his office but no answer. The bellhop appeared to ask the driver if I could go back to breakfast and he indicated yes. After sitting back down for about 10 minutes the bellhop came back and told us our driver was leaving if we didn’t get out there for pickup. He even showed us a no show ticket. Unfortunately our hands were tied and we had to go. I can understand mix ups and things happening but to take zero blame and put it on my shoulders to solve, no good. Never will I use this company again.
