Our Holbox Shuttle is a non-stop, two-hour drive from Cancun International Airport to the port of Chiquila, where you can take the ferry to Holbox Island. (Ferry tickets are not included in your Holbox Shuttle fee). We recommend using the restroom before boarding. IF YOU CANNOT FIND OUR REPRESENTATIVE, PLEASE CALL THE PROVIDED PHONE NUMBER YOURSELF. DO NOT ASK FOR HELP FROM OTHERS.
We do not recognize any cash payments made at the airport. We are always at the ferry terminal, and if we are late, we will provide a solution at no extra cost. YOU DO NOT NEED TO PAY CASH OR PAY AGAIN AT CANCUN AIRPORT.
Ferries to Holbox Island usually depart every hour, but there are always water taxis (small boats) available for hire at the port of Chiquila.
Extra Bags
Your ticket includes one bag per person up to 25 kg. If you have more than one piece of luggage, you need to purchase another ticket before you board the van. Keep in mind that we reserve the right to refuse service if you have extra luggage not reported before arriving at our meeting point. Our luggage space is limited.
Departure Point
The departure meeting point for our Holbox Shuttle service is located in front of the “Welcome Bar” at domestic terminal #2 of Cancun Airport. A fully identified representative of our company will arrive at the scheduled time holding a sign that reads: “Holbox Shuttle by Holbox Adventure.” He will assist you in boarding once he has verified your tickets and that all passengers on his list are present.
Keep your boarding tickets handy, as you will need them to identify your party when boarding our shuttle to the port of Chiquila.
Your ticket is only valid for the reserved time and date.
What’s included in the Holbox Shuttle Fare?
Our Holbox Shuttle service fare includes only the direct, non-stop shared transportation service from Cancun Airport to the port of Chiquila or vice versa at the specified time and date, whichever applies to your reservation.
What’s not included in your Holbox Shuttle Fare?
Tips or gratuities to our operators are not included in your fare, nor are food or beverages of any kind unless specified.
Luggage and Carry-on Bags
Our transportation shuttle is equipped for your comfort. Therefore, your reservation includes only one 25 kg piece of regular luggage. If you require extra space, please let us know immediately so we can inform you how to pay for the additional space. If you have extra luggage, you need to book another ticket. We do not accept kite surfing bags or gear as we have limited space in our luggage compartment.

- We depart from WELCOME BAR Located at Cancun International Airport inside terminal number 2 domestic on the Arrival area. you need be at least 10 minutes before our departure time.
- How to Get to Terminal 2 Domestic? If Your land in a different terminal there is a free inner terminal Shuttle that leaves every 20 minutes to other terminals once you get to terminal 2 domestic next to door number 8 there is an acces with a security Guard, you need show him your shuttle reservation and he will allow you to get in to the arrival section of the terminal, walk straight untill you see the welcome bar. hits important that you know we cant collect you in another terminal please try to be on time we only wait 10 minutes after our departure time. if you are short of time you can hire a taxi from terminal to terminal to take you to our meeting point. we are not responsable for flight delays.
