Please note that if you miss your shuttle, there is no obligation to arrange alternative transportation for your group.
The Holbox Shuttle provides a non-stop, two-hour journey from Cancun International Airport to the port of Chiquila, where you can catch a ferry to Holbox Island. (Ferry tickets are not included in the Holbox Shuttle fee). It is recommended to use the restroom before boarding. If you cannot locate our representative, please call the provided phone number directly and do not seek assistance from others.
Cash payments at the airport are not recognized. Representatives are always at the ferry terminal, and if there is a delay, a solution will be provided at no extra cost. There is no need to pay cash or make additional payments at Cancun Airport.
Ferries to Holbox Island typically depart every hour, but water taxis (small boats) are also available for hire at the port of Chiquila.
Extra Bags
Your ticket includes one bag per person up to 25 kg. If you have more than one piece of luggage, you must purchase another ticket before boarding the van. Please note that the right is reserved to refuse service if extra luggage is not reported before arriving at the meeting point. Luggage space is limited.
Departure Point
The departure meeting point for the Holbox Shuttle service is located in front of the “Welcome Bar” at domestic terminal #2 of Cancun Airport. A fully identified representative will arrive at the scheduled time holding a sign that reads: “Holbox Shuttle by Holbox Adventure.” They will assist you in boarding once your tickets are verified and all passengers on the list are present.
Keep your boarding tickets accessible, as they are needed to identify your group when boarding the shuttle to the port of Chiquila.
Your ticket is valid only for the reserved time and date.
What’s included in the Holbox Shuttle Fare?
The Holbox Shuttle service fare includes only the direct, non-stop shared transportation service from Cancun Airport to the port of Chiquila or vice versa at the specified time and date, as applicable to your reservation.
What’s not included in your Holbox Shuttle Fare?
Tips or gratuities for operators, food, or beverages of any kind are not included unless specified.
Luggage and Carry-on Bags
The transportation shuttle is equipped for comfort, and your reservation includes one 25-kilogram piece of regular luggage. If extra space is needed, please inform us immediately to arrange payment for the additional space. If you have extra luggage, another ticket must be booked. Surfing bags or gear are not accepted due to limited luggage space.

- We depart from WELCOME BAR Located at Cancun International Airport inside terminal number 2 domestic on the Arrival area. you need be at least 10 minutes before our departure time.
- How to Get to Terminal 2 Domestic? If Your land in a different terminal there is a free inner terminal Shuttle that leaves every 20 minutes to other terminals once you get to terminal 2 domestic next to door number 8 there is an acces with a security Guard, you need show him your shuttle reservation and he will allow you to get in to the arrival section of the terminal, walk straight untill you see the welcome bar. hits important that you know we cant collect you in another terminal please try to be on time we only wait 10 minutes after our departure time. if you are short of time you can hire a taxi from terminal to terminal to take you to our meeting point. we are not responsable for flight delays.
