Mayan museam and Cenote - I cannot recommend Jaguar Journey tours enough! We were picked up and immediately treated so kindly by both of our guides, Efren and Max. We were given snacks and drinks the entire day (on top of the 2 meals that were part of our tour). Max and Efren made the trip! They were both so friendly, enthusiastic and helpful. Max has an unending knowledge of the history of Mexico (and many other places/topics as well!) and he taught us so much, he had a lot of passion and seemed to really enjoy his job, which made us enjoy the day even more! Efren made sure to keep us safe, and he was always ready to carry a bag, offer a beer, or tell us a funny story. The Mayan tour was amazing and the Cenote is truly something not worth missing, and the food stops were delicious and unique. I would highly recommend Jaguar Journey, and even more highly recommend Efren and Max as your tour guides!

Fantastic perspective on Cancún with great food and swimming - Axel was a fantastic guide and really captured the beauty of Cancun for my family and I. We went with two teenagers and they both loved Mercado 23, the delicious lunch and most of all the cenote swimming experience. This is a must do tour in Cancun. I left with historical knowledge, an appreciation for the local Mercado , cuisine and a refreshed spiritual outlook after the cenote swim. I highly recommend this tour. I have done many.

Highly recommended tour! Professional guide and magical day. - This tour was so well planned and crafted. You can tell Axel and his team but so much thought into the tour and showing the very best hidden gems of Cancun. Mercado 23 was amazing and we tasted many local foods and shopped like locals. Lunch was delicious and more than expected. The cenote was beautiful and relaxing. This company is professional, knowledgeable and enthusiastic. We will 100% use them again. Highly recommended. We went with two teenagers and they really enjoyed it too. Thanks Axel for a special day.

Amazing Excursion Experience! - Overall, our excursion experience was amazing. Our tour guide, Axel, always made sure we were comfortable, having fun, and learning all about the Mayan culture. From touring the Mayan pyramids, to swimming in the cenote, to shopping in a local town, we had a blast. Axel was so knowledgeable, personable, and fun. I definitely recommend going on this excursion if you’re vacationing in Cancún!

Great guide! - Great tour, highly recommend. Axel is such a knowledgeable, friendly and passionate guide. We also booked a second tour with Axel after the first one was fantastic. Real hidden gems that you wouldn’t have access to without the tour. Definitely great value for money, the food we tried on both tours were delicious as well! Thank you for helping make our trip such a memorable one!

A wonderful experience involving Mayan history and everyday Mexican life. - Efron and Marvinus were very attentive, and as I have limited mobility, I really appreciated their assistance getting around. Their knowledge and attention to me and my wife made this a wonderful time for us. We learned so much over the course of the day. We'd definitely recommend this tour with these two exceptional men.

The Best Tour in Cancun - This was an amazing tour of an authentic, Mexican Market and a dip in a private cenote! Our guide Max was extremely knowledgeable about the history of his culture and the Mayan people in Cancun. We had a delicious authentic Mexican meal to end out the day and we truly enjoyed this tour!

The best trip of our Holiday! - Fabulous, the best trip of our holidays!
My husband and I whilst staying at the Bayan Tree Mayakoba in March chose a selection of trips via the Hotel which were not nearly as good as this experience and far more expensive than independent-
“Hidden Gems Mayan Museum Cenote & Market Trip trip”. This well organised trip by Axel was by far the best in service, content and discovery.
The trip to the museum and Axels in-depth knowledge of Mayan Culture enabled us to really understand the artefacts and the Mayan Temples.
The trip to the Market was terrific - sampling local delicacies and amazed by the visual displays of goods.
The trip to the private cenote was the most memorable of our experiences truly a fantastic experience.
Axel looked after us brilliantly managing our time and yet allowing us to feel we weren’t being herded around .
I would recommend this trip 100 %

Best Tour EVER!! DO NOT MISS THIS!!! - This tour surpassed our expectations in each and every way. The tour guide, Axel, is a wealth of knowledge! Tour was very personalized, as it was just myself and my mom, and we loved each and every minute of it! Would definitely book a tour with these folks again, we had so much fun, the tour through the museum was incredibly in-depth, we really enjoyed the authentic cuisine, the market, shopping, as well as swimming in the centoe. They even surprised my mother with a birthday gift and decorated the back of the car, it was really cute and adorable, and I definitely was not expecting that. So much fun!!!! We will see you next time we are out, for Tulum!!
