Swimming skills are necessary as the tour takes place in the open ocean.
The guide will lead participants to the beach to enter the sea with SNORKEL equipment, including a mask, snorkel tube, and life jacket.
Participants will explore the official CONANP designated swimming circuit within the National Park and protected natural area in Akumal Bay. This circuit spans 1 km or 0.7 miles and lasts 50 minutes (Time is regulated by authorities, and no agency can exceed this duration).
Observing green turtles is guaranteed.
Participants will also encounter tropical fish, rays, and other marine life that occasionally visit the reef.
For those new to swimming in the open ocean, there is assurance and security in being accompanied by a professional at all times. Exceptional service is our hallmark, prioritizing customer safety and personalized attention.

The best swimming with turtles experience you'll find - Wow....what an amazing experience thanks to Darwin and his partner Marlene.
Soon as the booking process started, he kept us informed of all the important details. Once we were there and out of the taxi we were looked after by Marlene to get ready.
All the important safety aspects such as life jackets, goggles etc were carefully checked by Darwin and Marlene.
Darwin knew all the right spots to find the turtles, took his time to explain everything to us....overall a totally amazing experience thanks to Darwin.
I had booked him based on the reviews I'd read and I was not let down, and therefore fully recommend him to anyone wanting a private experience. Great work Darwin and Marlene.

Amazing tour guides - Darwin and his wife Marlene are absolutely wonderful. We had a private tour for 8 and they showed us so much sea life and were super informative. They even showed us the best place to get a coffee after! Highly recommend

Best Day Ever - Absolutely amazing. Darwin is attentive and informative. You are looked after from start to finish. We saw so many turtles and It was such a personal touch. I highly recommend this trip. This has been our best day in Mexico and the memories will stay with us always. Thank you

Sea turtle tour with darwin - We did this tour with Darwin yesterday and it was amazing. He is extremely helpful, friendly and knowledgeable, I wouldn't hesitate to book with him again, you won't be disappointed.

Great morning adventure - We had an amazing time out with Darwin and saw so many turtles, it’s amazing how close you get. Darwin provided plenty of information and was there to meet the taxi when we arrived at the dive shop.

Unbelievable experience thank you - We absolutely loved our visit to meet the turtles with Darwin. Would 100 percent recommend and go again if in the area. He was great with our children age 4 and 7. They loved their turtle necklace and wore it the rest of our holiday. We saw so many turtles as he swam out with them holding onto the ring. We got so many amazing photos and videos to remember this unbelievable experience. Clear instructions of where to go and meet. Thank you so much.

Excellent experience - I had seen numerous recommendations for Darwin on a Facebook group. After checking what to tour operator did and not being happy with the choice I decided to contact Darwin. We definitely did not regret. Just my family and Darwin, he is so knowledgeable and clearly very experienced. All arrangements prior and contact was spot on. Cannot fault and the experience itself was like nothing else I have ever done. Highly recommend

Amazing! - We went for the tour today and it was incredible. We was greeted by Marlene and she showed us around and then we met Darwin. He was amazing throughout the tour. We got to see SO much! The pictures are beautiful as well. Darwin was constantly checked we were all doing ok with the snorkelling and taking us around so much. Well worth doing this tour with them.

Amazing experience - Darwin made sure we had everything we needed, staying in constant contact and meeting us at the taxi to ensure we were well looked after.
We were provided with all the necessary equipment, along with clear and thorough instructions on what to do and what to expect.
As my son isn’t a strong swimmer, Darwin kindly guided him with a ring, which made a huge difference. If you're a confident swimmer, you’ll get the most out of the experience, but even then, swimming for an hour can be tiring—I ended up helping my teenager towards the end!
The experience itself was truly out of this world. We were away from the larger tour groups, closer to the heart of the turtle reserve, where Darwin expertly led us to the best spots. His knowledge was incredible, and he provided fascinating details about the fish, rays, and turtles we encountered. We were lucky enough to see seven turtles and several rays—not to mention an amazing variety of fish.
If you're considering booking, don’t hesitate—it's absolutely worth it!
