• Medicine Lake - Enjoy a drive along the picturesque Maligne Valley road, a stunning scenic route that meanders through breathtaking mountain and forest landscapes. Medicine Lake is renowned for its unique phenomenon of ‘vanishing’ each summer, due to an extensive underground karst system—one of the largest globally. This spot is definitely photo-worthy.
• Maligne Lake - Continue from Medicine Lake to the beautiful Maligne Lake, where you can choose between a boat cruise to Spirit Island or a 2-mile (3.2 km) guided hike on an easy, level trail.
  Please Note: Spirit Island is accessible only by water and can be visited by opting for the Boat Cruise, not the Guided Hike.

If you opt for the hiking experience, follow your guide on the Mary Schaffer Loop trail, which traces the shore of Maligne Lake to a stunning viewpoint with interpretive displays and benches, before heading into the trees and back to the starting point.

If you choose the boat cruise, board a comfortable enclosed boat with large windows for a scenic tour on Maligne Lake. The boat will stop at Spirit Island, a small jewel in the lake, where you’ll have time for photos and a brief stroll. Please note this is NOT included for guests who choose the WALK option.

• Jasper National Park - Throughout the day, your guide will share insights into the natural and human history of the area and will be on the lookout for the abundant wildlife that inhabits the park. Possible sightings include bears, deer, caribou, wolves, moose, bighorn sheep, bald eagles, and osprey, among the many animals of Jasper National Park. At the end of your tour, you will be returned to your Jasper hotel.
