HCMC – Cai Be – Tan Phong

Cai Rang Floating Market - Upon arriving in Cai Be at approximately 9:30 AM, the journey begins with a motorboat ride to the Cai Be floating market. Here, visitors can witness locals trading fruits and various other goods directly from their boats.

Following this, there is an opportunity to visit a small family-run business to learn about the traditional methods used to make coconut candy and crispy rice popcorn.

Afterwards, a leisurely walk through the small villages leads to a vast orchard and fruit plantation, where guests can enjoy a captivating performance of traditional southern Vietnamese folk music.

Tan Phong - Upon reaching Tan Phong Island, participants can engage in a cooking class to learn how to prepare special Vietnamese dishes. Lunch is then served, featuring fresh river food enjoyed amidst the garden setting. Post-lunch, relaxation on hammocks offers a chance to recharge.

Around 2:00 PM, a bike ride along village paths lined with fruit orchards and bonsai gardens provides an opportunity to meet local islanders and gain insights into daily life in the Mekong Delta.

Finally, at approximately 3:00 PM, guests will meet their homestay host before having time to explore the countryside.

Cai Be - After breakfast, a visit to the historic home of Mr. Ba Duc is planned. This house is one of the few remaining that beautifully blends Vietnamese and French architectural styles, showcasing features from the colonial era.

The next stop is a rice husking mill, where visitors can learn about the rice production process. Additionally, there is an opportunity to discover various handcrafted materials unique to the Mekong Delta, such as “Cham La,” coconut leaves traditionally used for roofing. Observing the brick-making process is also part of the experience.

Ho Chi Minh City - The journey concludes with a return to Ho Chi Minh City, with the trip ending around 4:30 – 5:00 PM.
