Day 1: Cairo to Bahariya Oasis & White desert camping Tour

Bahariya Oasis Guide - In the morning, You will be met at the reception of your hotel in Cairo and Giza and start your Private tour on AC private transportation to get a 4 hours comfortable ride to Bahariya Oasis west of Cairo .

White Desert - Once you arrive you will have your Lunch at the oasis then start your adventure to go through the desert , You will start by black desert to see the most amazing views there and continue to go the Crystal mountain , then Agabat area to see the sand dunes there Continue your way to the White desert and see the Mushroom stones and your Bedouin guide will arrange the camp there with all equipment
Later a BBQ dinner in the desert and overnight

Day 2 : Back to Bahariya Oasis then back to Cairo

Bahariya Oasis Guide - In the morning you will have the breakfast in the desert, then get back to Bahariya Oasis for some rest

Cairo - Later you will get a comfortable transfer back to your Hotel in Cairo or Giza
(you will be in Cairo by 4 PM)

You need to book this! - This was the highlight of my 2 weeks in Egypt. You need to book this. We had a private driver pick us up in Cairo in a comfortable vehicle for the 4 hour drive to the oasis. At Badry’s everyone was welcoming and kind. Badry himself was great- he made us meals upon arrive and prior to leaving. The guides that took us out into the desert were fun and showered us all the important stops along the way, they set up camp, cooked fabulous food, sang next to the campfire and packed up in the morning. We were even lucky enough to see a desert fox before bed! If you are hesitant about doing something different, don’t be!

I had a amazing experience doing the white and black desert - The tour I did with Badry Sahara Camp for the white and black desert was amazing. The food they fed me during the tour was great and the tour guide Islam was amazing. He did everything to make me feel comfortable and even stayed up very late in the desert just so I can take pictures of the night sky after the moon set. I overall amazing tour and would highly recommend anyone to book this tour if they come to Egypt

White Desert at Night - Favorite part was the awesome food and waking up in the morning to watch the sunrise over the desert. The pick up in Cairo was efficient and arrival in Bahariya Oasis was followed by a great lunch. Recommend taking the tour of Bahariya Oasis. Our guide, Ahmed, was fantastic and took us the best spots for photos at sunset. It’s a great trip for photographers, especially at night with the stars and Milky Way visible.

Excellent experience of the desert - The camping in the desert with a nice diner prepared the traditional bedouin way was amazing. The 4x4 was in excellent condition with Islam as a very good driver and guide that let us explore the black and white deserts. The lunch and breakfast meals were also excellents. Highly recommended.

Safety 10/10, tour guide 10/10, food 10/10, views 10/10. - Safety was a big concern that I was worried about, but from start to finish I felt very safe. The guide was amazing and based on other peoples experiences it really felt like our tour had the best set up and execution when it came to our starry night camping site. Everything we needed was provided and overall experience was a solid 10/10. Islam the tour guide made the first part of my Egypt trip unforgettable. (I am a longtime Canadian traveller and have booked many experiences like this one in other countries). I highly recommend !
