Book this tour…you won’t regret it! - A wonderful experience with our friendly and knowledgeable guides, John and Janet. The boat was really comfortable and such a bonus to have an indoor and outdoor seat, as well as a few different spots to see the wildlife. We saw several Humpback Whales (and what a show they put on!), Sea Lions, Seals and some interesting birds. I also enjoyed learning more about indigenous history and culture as well, as some interesting facts about Campbell River, the whales and other wildlife. When you go, bring some layers - it was almost 30 degrees when we went and some spots were quite chilly! Highly recommend!

Excellent private whale and grizzly bear tour for 9 people - We had an amazing 8 hour private boat tour with Homalco Wildlife Tours to see whales and grizzly bears. We had 9 people including children. Sam was our knowledgeable and friendly guide and Ron was our experienced boat driver. They were both excellent at their jobs and made our experience very comfortable and eye-opening. Holly in the office communicated very patiently with me to facilitate the organization of our tour. We were fortunate to see orcas, sea lions, seals, eagles and humpback whales. Ron kept the boat at a safe distance so as not to endanger the animals and Sam gave us all kinds of interesting information on what we were seeing. The scenery along the route was unparalleled and we all felt very fortunate to be able to experience the beauty of this place. Thank you all for making our tour an unforgettable experience.

10/10 recommend, fabulous experience from staff to whales :) - Huge thank you to the team at Homalco Tours for the fabulous experience our group had on the water! We brought a group of teenagers for the Salish Sea Whale Watching Tour and had a fabulous experience. The staff were knowledgeable, kind, patient, flexible, and very accommodating of our group of young people from the planning process all the way through the end of the tour. We saw orcas, humpbacks, so much beautiful coastline, and even a playful whale jumping and waving its fin. I highly recommend this Indigenous business for your whale watching experience in Campbell River!

Great day on the water - Had a great experience with Homalco tours. We saw 4 humpbacks, 3 orcas, and hundreds of seals, from our seats on a very comfortable boat with enclosed cabin. The guides, Cassie and Wayne, did their best to find whales, often coordinating with other boats, and educated our group on wildlife and Homalco history and culture. I would definitely take a tour with them again.

Fantastic trip on the sea - You had a wonderful trip on a clean ship with the possibility of both sitting inside and out. Both the captain and guide were friendly and knowledgeable about the wildlife of the sea. We saw puppy whales, sea lions and speckhuggers. We got hot cocoa and muslibar about halfway. A really good experience that both me and my kids at 12 and 15 really enjoy.
