Fabulous Whale Tours - Fabulous tour, Captain Geoff was very knowledgeable about the area and whales' habits, plus Lexi shared so much technical and informative info of the whales, seabirds and other wildlife PLUS we saw lots of humpbacks (lots!) and a family of orcas (killer whales); crazy fun outing!

A great way to spend an afternoon! - We had a wonderful time on the discovery island historical tour. Marty was a great skipper and Allison, the historian, was very knowledgeable about the area and its history of First Nations and early settlers. The history of the clam gardens, early whaling, and history of the First Nations was fascinating! Seeing the orcas was a nice extra bonus 😄 Thank you so much for a great experience!

A Whale of a time. - This was a fantastic trip. We had about 5 sightings of humpback whales and also saw sea birds and some seals who swam toward the boat giving us a great photo opportunity. The crew were friendly and very informative about the area and the wildlife. We will most likely do this cruise again next year when in Canada

Holiday highlight - We had an amazing afternoon out on the boat with Alex and Tyler. We were treated to the very best of nature, with Alex and Tyler taking us to see orcas and humpback playing together. Topped off with a stop to see the sea lions, seals, and various sea birds, this was a real highlight of our trip to Vancouver Island. Campbell River Whale Watching is one of the few places we could find that would take an infant on board, which meant we didn’t have to compromise the family part of our family holiday and everybody could make memories together. Alex and Tyler were so helpful in making sure everyone felt safe and comfortable. We will be back to Campbell River Whale Watching and Adventures on our next trip to the area.

Humpback meets killerwhales - We had an unforgettable afternoon with our exquisite guides Alex and Tyler. We were lucky enough to witness an unusual encounter of a humpback whale 🐋 (possibly with calf) that was closely followed by a large group of sword whales. Alex taught us that - with good reason - it is better to speak of 'sword whale' than 'orca'. On the way back we sailed past Mitlenatch Island, a bird sanctuary with also a large group of noisy sea lions. The trip is highly recommended if you are near Campbell River.

Stunning Show with Alex and Tyler on Tenacious III - Alex (captain) and Tyler too 28 other passengers and myself on the Tenacious III. At first I was wondering about the long run to Comox area .... then suddenly we were amongst 16 Killer Whales and a Humpback who seemed to be their pet. The whales were giving quite a show of jumping and blowing. It was a once in a lifetime experience? Or, maybe the next time we go......? Absolutely recommend going out with Alex on the Tenacious III. With 31 of us on board there was still plenty of room for viewing and perhaps one of your friends will appreciate that the boat has a head.

Didn’t have one as distance from Victoria was not detailed in the tour information - I had no idea that Campbell River was 3.5 hour drive away from Victoria. I checked out the location about 1.5 hours before the trip would begin so of course I missed the boat. Details about this tour ought to include the distance from Victoria so that one can book accommodation or even decide that it’s too expensive and too far. Just giving the address is not enough.
