Visit Out of Africa Wildlife Park to experience wildlife in their expansive, natural environments. Our mission is to educate and entertain, offering a thrilling opportunity to foster love and appreciation for both creation and the creator. Our park serves as a gathering place for friends and families to connect with animals and each other through a variety of activities including safaris, tours, walks, observations, and performances featuring animals in their natural magnificence. We seek to instill a deep sense of unity with our animals, underpinning their worth to such an extent that their potential extinction becomes unthinkable. We constantly ensure our animals live in spacious, natural habitats, transforming those in need into ambassadors for their species. We have responded to the silent plea of many of these animals, some of which are on the brink of extinction.

You will begin your day by checking in at our admissions window, and most people wish to do their African Bush safari first. Then you are welcome to walk to the top of the park, or take a ride on the shuttle to get to the shows at the top of the park.

Viewing the animals up... - Viewing the animals up close was amazing. The shows were fun and entertaining. Staff were friendly and engaging with the animals. Watching the staff feed the predators was pretty cool. There were lots of camera opportunities, so we will have lasting memories.

Surprisingly Amazing! - Coming off of a recent Kenyan safari, the bar was pretty low in terms of what we were expecting. We were so surprised by the variety of animals, knowledge and care of the staff, and the well made enclosures. This was a perfect activity for our family (only 40 mins from Sedona) and was something that'll we'll continue to talk about.

We loved it. - Let me start out by saying that zoo’s and wildlife parks can be difficult for me because I want all wild animals to be just that…wild…in the wild. With that said, I like to put my money towards helping animals in need and sharing wildlife with my twin 5 year old daughters. If I keep it in that light, this place was fantastic. The staff were engaged, friendly, funny and clearly dedicated to the well being of the animals. The up close encounters were leaps and bounds beyond anything I’ve ever experienced. The bush safari bus ride with the giraffes and the Tiger encounters were unforgettable. We all left feeling like we had experiences something truly unique.

Best ever,, I love animals! - Absolutely loved every minute. If we ever go again, I'll know to ride the shuttle from spot to spot. Elderly, too much walking. My fault. Only used the shuttle at the end. 🥴

I love out of Africa. - I had such a wonderful time at Out of Africa! The staff was super friendly and made me feel right at home. Alyssa, my amazing tour guide and driver shared so many interesting stories and tips that made the experience even more enjoyable. I’m definitely planning to come back, and I’m thinking about volunteering too! I just love Out of Africa! Thank you Alyssa.

Loved this experience!! - Very impressed with this experience! The animals were very well cared for and in a natural looking habitat. The staff genuinely loved their job in caring for the animals.Very family like atmosphere.

Fun family day trip - Great experience! Family with young kids, took a day trip from Phoenix. We did the Expidition Pass. Recommend spending the few extra bucks. We arrived, watched the tiger show, fed the tiger, then had an excellent tour (special thanks to Cassidy the tour guide). She was knowledgeable, great with the kids, fed the animals treats, and you get to feed the giraffes from the safari van. The staff are fun and caring. They are very organized, and while plenty of the experience is self-guided they are always around sharing/showing/interacting with you and the animals. A general safari tour and the walking tour/shows are included in admission so even the basic pass gets you a great experience. The animals are obviously well loved and it was fun to be a part of that.

Out of Africa tour - We got there abit late so we only got to feed the giraffes, but it was a nice little experience. The tour was informative and liked seeing the animals.

Great Experience, Horrible Customer Service from the Gift Shop Old Ladies - The Out of Africa experience was so wonderful! I came with my Husband, 3 children under 2, and some family friends. My toddlers really enjoyed the Tiger Splash, the Lion show in the Tiger Splash area, the critter show and the Serengeti feeding tour!
Overall the experiences were so fun!!
I leave a 2 star review because of the customer service we experienced at the very end, going through the gift shop.
There were two senior ladies running it, who were very antsy to go home and close immediately at 5. My family had come from the last Serengeti tour so we still had a few minutes but boy were they irritated! Telling everyone coming in that they were closing immediately, no patience.
Being that I have 3 little ones and a long drive back to Phoenix, I was in the parking lot making sure diapers were changed and everyone was ready to go, when these same ladies come driving up, one of which rolled down her window saying they were waiting for us to leave so they could lock the gate. We politely informed her we were just changing diapers and would be on our way, to which she replied “well we want to go home!” In a nasty, rude tone!
Sad how some people have no patience for families and especially since many visitors are coming from out of town, have no consideration for their time and needs, to be patient and courteous.
Very disappointed that this was the last encounter of our visit.
Definitely would not want to come visit again due to the lack of good customer service and going the extra mile to make an experience one to remember, and ending on a good note.
