Excellent introduction to rowing - I had a great session coached by Juan. After going through some basics on the ergs and using training oars, our group of 8 complete beginners got out into the water. It definitely wasn't straight forward at times but Juan did a great job coaching us through. It was a really enjoyable experience, and looking forward to trying more rowing.

Perfect Cambridge rowing experience - Omar was a great instructor! Great experience covering indoor rowing machines, taking out the boats, and as mazing fun out in the river. Omar made sure to take photos / videos throughout and share them with everyone, which was very appreciated.

Well worth it for all - Great experience very fun, and very well instructed. My rowing skills are vastly better after this. I highly recommend this experience for anyone interested in rowing.

Super fun - First time rowing and definitely not my last. There were three guys doing the same taster session as me and we went out in a quad after a practice on the erg. Omar was super helpful and reassuring. Seriously fun afternoon on the river.

Brilliant rowing experience, highly recommend. - It was 30 years ago since I started my degree at Cambridge University, and I only set foot in an 8 seat rowing boat last week.... I now live in Cambridge, my 14 year old daughter rows sculls (2 oars ) at school, and we finally bit the bullet, after being on the mailing list for over a year, to give the trial session a go. It was absolutely brilliant. I was expecting a hard workout on the rowing machines then 5 minutes in the boat but it was absolutely the opposite to that. We had a quick review of technique on the machines, then a really good amount of time on the water. We were trained in rowing technique, how to manage the oars, how to balance the boat, then we set off, and had a moderately successful and highly enjoyable run up and down the river. It really was brilliant. As a Cambridge local, I will definitely continue with the club and hope I can do more rowing and make it more of a regular thing - I'm sure my student self would be horrified - I loved it. I'm sure as a one off experience for a visitor to Cambridge it would also be superb and give a really wonderful perspective on Cambridge which can't get any other way. I've spent years running and dog walking along the river watching the boats and it was so wonderful to get the river view. Also I'd add that going with a young teenager (albeit with rowing experience - unlike myself) was great - this definitely isn't adults only, it's really good for teenagers as well.

Wonderful rowing experience - This was an amazing team building and fun event. Omar was a fantastic coach and tutor and it works for ALL ages and levels of fitness. This is seriously suitable for everybody. What a gem of a find. The whole team loved every minute!!!!!
