Rowing Experience - Contacted a number of clubs about the learn to row course and Omar at Cambridge rowing experience was the only one to get back to me about taking part in his rowing experience first which I would highly recommend and is a fun 3 hours.

A great way to start rowing - I had no idea how to try rowing in Cambridge until I saw the banner for CambridGE rowing. Beginner rowing with Omar was a fantastic experience, and I can’t wait to go back. He is an excellent and fun teacher who made rowing accessible. I can’t believe how quickly he got us moving well on the water. I highly recommend this.

Try something really local in Cambridge! - It was an incredible first experience I had in rowing, completely new for me, but absolutely brilliant. We were lucky to have such a talented and professional rowing instructor. Thank you Omar for that. It was really accurate in theory to understand the basics and quite practical, so we could go on water from the very first session. It was challenging to work as a team, but we had clear instructions what to do, so all went really well. The only issue is, that I would love to continue having rowing experience in future. Really engaging! I can recommend it all my friends and people who want to try something really local in Cambridge.

Excellent and fun team building experience - I organised this event as a corporate team-building activity for a group of senior executives. The Cambridge Rowing Experience team provided outstanding service, guiding us through the proper rowing techniques with patience. No prior rowing experience is necessary to participate in the activity. We all had a delightful time and extend our deepest appreciation to Omar and the team for making our experience both enjoyable and enlightening.

Thrilling Rowing Experience over Cam🚤 - Last week, had a memorable first experience in a long time with rowing over the beautiful Cam🌊. I have never been that close to the river and always been little afraid. But Omar was superb with his guidance, instructing all of us with patience and providing an amazing taster session. We started with absolute rowing basics in the gym, with gradually moving to final experience. Post gym, we moved to boat garage, then understanding the tidbits of balancing, moving & rotating the boat. After getting into the river, we gradually started to get hold of the subtle art of balancing and moving boat altogether across the river. Omar was kind enough to keep all of us motivated and getting us ready for the final thrilling experience when everyone got into perfect team sync. And, woohoo, kudos to all of us, we managed to kept the boat upright through the whole experience. I'd definitely recommend anyone getting started on rowing or just want to experience the sport with guidance. I am sure, you will enjoy every bit and have it in your memory for a long time.

Fantastic Rowing Experience with City of Cambridge Rowing Boat Club - Incredible rowing experience in the City of Cambridge Rowing boat club. Excellent rowing experience - Amazing experience, friendly and well-trained staff. Proper briefing is given before entering the water. A must-to-do thing if visiting Cambridge.

I didn't get wet . - Absolutely fantastic, had a wonderful uplifting experience. Never in a million years did I think I would be rowing in an eight boat. Omar is a brilliant teacher.

An amazing team experience and a fun way to discover Cambridge! - My friends were visiting and wanted to try rowing. The session started with learning the techniques on the rowing machines, we then practiced with the oars on stationary boats and finally rowed on the Cam in an 8 for ~1h. We had an absolute blast! Omar is an excellent coach. He explained the techniques in details and gave us confidence on the river. Being a rower myself, I believe it is a brilliant introduction to rowing. Definitely worth trying out! - Very good first time rowing experience. Omar gave us step-by-step directions and showed us how everything is done. We weren't good, but we all had a blast. Omar also took photos and videos of the group for memories!
