Unique way to see Cambridge, kid/teen friendly, highly recommend - Highly recommend! We were in Cambridge for the weekend with two teenagers, and we wanted to create some variety for them. They LOVED this. We found all of the doors on foot except for the two that are really far outside of Cambridge. It was a great way to explore Cambridge with a twist. It wasn’t expensive, and we were able to break it up and find the doors at our own pace.

Lots of fun! - The kids said this was on the top of their favorite things in Cambridge! Super cute and guided us on nice walks through the city! Sometimes the connection to the map was spotty.

Sheer joy for all ages - Who knew that women of a certain age needed Dinky Doors! We only found a few as we were side tracked with shopping, etc, but the ones that we did find made us all smile with delight. We will be back to do the complete tour at a later date.

Lovely way to explore the city - A lovely way in to exploring the city, especially with children. I liked that it wasn’t prescriptive and that you could follow in whatever order made sense to your day! Only got through a handful of doors as we got distracted by other things, but will definitely carry on another time.

Fun tour and good value. - We enjoyed this tour. We didn’t have time to complete them all but bought the app for £8.50. You can also buy a map for a donation. It was fun finding the doors and the stories made us smile. Thank you for a fun afternoon.

Fun and fun - Very nice activity, carried out with my students. This allowed them to discover Cambridge differently. I bought the version online. I think buy the paper version in the future. Cons: the architecture of the site is not very clear: difficult to find a specific page without starting all over again.

Doors galore - Bought the digital map for £1 which was good to give an idea of where the doors were though some lane names you have to deduce yourself which is easy enough. Each ‘door’ is so detailed and a mini sculpture/piece of art and not just a door like we initially presumed.

A good challenge - Our favourite was the Dinky Door on Riverside, but we didnt manage to see them all. Plenty left for a second trip. We were amazed how well built they are and sturdy, although some could do with a wash and brush up and one had weeds growing in it. It was a good challenge and a nice way to see more of the city. Thank you.

Great walking day with the family. - Great fun to do with the family of any age group (non-elderly) on a dry day. There is quite a bit of walking involved. It does require some effort to navigate the map as the starting point is always from the recommended starting point. However, one you figure out how to change the start / end points then its easy to follow. Half of the doors are in one area of the city and the other half is about 30mins walk away so, if you only have half a day in the city, you will not be able to get to all the doors. It was not necessary to pay for all participants as the cost should only be for one map rather than the whole group! Just pay for one person and load it up on phone of the phones.

Very poor - Very poor no contact with anyone. On the end I bought the book which was excellent on the Diddy Doors map and pictures included.
