The tour is conducted entirely outdoors, emphasizing the streets, squares, and the exteriors of the colleges in Cambridge. If chosen during booking, AFTER THE WALKING TOUR CONCLUDES, participants can enhance their experience with a self-guided tour of King’s College Chapel, renowned for its historical significance and beauty.
Participants will wander through the streets and alleys, passing by the serene college courts where luminaries like Isaac Newton, Niels Bohr, Stephen Hawking, Xu Zhimo, Virginia Woolf, and Srinivasa Ramanujan once roamed, deep in thought. Throughout the tour, the city’s exquisite blend of Gothic and Renaissance architecture will be on full display.
