Perfect Intro to Cambridge for First-time Visitors - A wonderfully entertaining, informative and well paced tour. Our guide Tony was a terrific host, pitching his commentary to all ages, adapting it to different cultural backgrounds and always making sure we were engaged. I found this a great way of orienting myself to Cambridge as a first-time visitor and understanding its history and main features. I never felt rushed and in the end Tony generously extended the time to almost two hours to make sure we didn't rush the final stops.

Fantastic tour--highly recommend!! - The tour guide was knowledgeable and funny! He had many funny stories about the colleges of Cambridge and famous scientist and writer alumni. This was particularly important on this tour as you can't really go inside any of the colleges, so the stories and descriptions are key.

Money well spent! - Our guide was Tony Rodgers. We seemed to be mainly UK resident, with one or two exceptions. Ages ranged from young primary school to 60-something, which could have been a challenge for any guide but Tony coped well and tried to cater for all. (In fact, I would say he helped the group to gel appropriately.) He was also mindful of our safety, throughout and considerate of other pedestrians in confined areas. The focus was the colleges 2 churches and a pub (rather than the museums), as advertised. I found the pace relaxed without time being wasted and the balance between 'interesting', 'informative' and 'entertaining' about right, considering the age differences. Personally, I could have coped with more but on the other hand, I retained only some of the salient facts! A little group participation was facilitated and occasional pieces of participant information welcomed. My partner and I agreed that it was £25 pp well-spent and the highlight of our time there, especially as it was on day 1, so we used some of our learning to optimise the rest of our Bank Holiday weekend.

An Enjoyable Afternoon in Cambridge - I did a walking tour with Tony on a cold, windy afternoon. It was listed to be be an hour and a half but turned into 2 hours. Tony is extremely knowledgeable and amusing and really made my brief stay in Cambridge. I will go back for longer and will definitely go on another tour. Thank you Tony.
