Go see the elephants! - This was a great way to spend the day! The elephant forest was my favorite part - we began by learning about the elephants & the sanctuary. Then we made snacks for the elephants, fed them, and went on a walk to watch them roam the sanctuary. Lunch was delicious - rice, pan fried veggies, omelette and sweet & sour chicken. Even being low season at the floating village, it was still a really unique experience! I was thankful for my tour guide, Bun, who went out of his way to make me feel comfortable, offering WiFi, water, umbrella, and to take my photo during the day. I definitely recommend this tour!

Hilarious tour guide! - I would say feeding the elephants was the highlight but a close 2nd would be the guide's humour throughout the tour. I hope I remember his name correctly but Seth was hilarious. Seth is a student and I felt like I was the only one laughing at his jokes but that's ok :). Anyway, it was an awesome opportunity to get so close to the animals. Great tour!

Spectacular and informative - Amazing opportunity to engage with elephants close up. Our guide, Borey, was a fountain of knowledge, explaining the complex history of the country, culture & religions in a simplified way. Safe driving, in AC van, and they adapted the tour when it got too hot for us. Highly recommend!!

A fabulous day at the Kulen Elephant Forest and the floating houses - The tour guide, Wanna, was right on time for pickup and very kind and helpful. At the Kulen Elephant Forest, being with the elephants up close was remarkable and a Fantastic, wholesome experience. It is great to learn that these dear creatures are being properly cared for and not overworked in unsatisfactory conditions. My solo tour with Wanna then moved on to the floating houses. Just being out on the water, observing these homes some with businesses, including restaurant; a place for the boat to fill up with gas - it gave me a different perspective of 'living on the water'. What an eye-opening experience! After that, Wanna and the driver, Chai, went beyond and took me into the town to the market for a brief visit before returning me to my hotel. It was a fabulous day and a wonderful way to finish my vacation. Thank you very much, Wanna!

Book this tour. Worth it! - Excellent tour! Highly recommend. Timely pickup by intelligent friendly guide names Wanna. Direct transport with safe driver in a comfortable car to the elephants. I fed them, walked with them, and watched them bath. Numerous photos of me with the elephants. Photos of me petting them, walking with them and feeding them. Delicious lunch and I could leave anytime I wanted because I had my own guide. Next stop was the floating village, even in the dry season it was amazing. We took a private boat operated by a man. His daughter assisted. We sailed past the village to the lake where we stopped at a floating restaurant for a drink. I had a delicious iced coffee. My guide explained the local territories to me on a map. Also there was a shop here. Everything is cash so bring cash for tipping. Loved this tour!

A most excellent guide in Siem Reap - A most wonderful guide. Borey was charming from the moment we met him. On the one hour drive to Kulen Forest he regaled us with his rich story telling and described the history of Cambodia right from the 1st Century onwards! We were all enthralled throughout the trip. His easy manner and gentleman-like approach was appreciated by us all and I would highly recommend him to anyone taking a trip in Siem Reap and looking for a guide.

Amazing Guide and Truly Happy Place For Elephants!! - We are a couple with our senior mother from Hong Kong. We are so pleased with our guide Mr. Wanna. He is very nice, patient and knowledgable for history. He was very flexible with timing and our needs because we were traveling during the hottest time in Cambodia, we needed to take some breaks for our 70 yrs old mother. Mr. Wanna was so patient and Kulen was such a wonderful experience for us. We love animals and would never ride on them, Kulen was such a sanctuary for the retired elephants, the elephants are so happy there. I highly recommended this activity for children/couple/family/ animal lovers.

Great way to spend the day! - This tour was wonderful - I recommend you do it if you have time! Our guide Borey shared stories of Cambodian history, the regions we drove through, as well as his personal experiences related to each. He was so animated and drew us into the stories! We joined a group of other tourists at the elephant forest which was a treat, as we got to make a rice ball mixture for the elephants and then feed them a variety of treats. We were also able to follow the elephants and their mahout (handler) while our elephant forest guide shared many details. He was very knowledgeable and animated - we really enjoyed him. We also got to wash the elephants and then had a light snack of mixed fruits (afternoon tour). There is some walking in loose dirt, when thinking about shoes. After that, we went to the fishing village which was an interesting experience to see how the stilted houses, boats and community members while learning more about that area while on our boat. Borey was a great guide and our driver was very good at maneuvering the traffic. We enjoyed every minute of it and would highly recommend it!
